Common use of PTO Maximum Accrual Clause in Contracts

PTO Maximum Accrual. The maximum amount of PTO accrual that may be accumulated is 480 hours. Employees who had accrued more than 480 hours of PTO prior to the ratification of this contract will stop accruing until they are below the maximum. These employees will be cashed out for their accrued hours over the maximum at forty (40) hours per pay period until they are below 480 hours.
