Recording of Leave. Every leave granted under this section shall be recorded on the employee's leave record card but shall not be charged to any other type of leave.

Recording of Leave. (9) The employee shall be paid for any period of annual leave prescribed by this clause at the ordinary rate of salary, and in the case of shift workers that rate of salary shall include the shift and weekend penalties the employee would have received had the employee not proceeded on annual leave. Where it is not possible to calculate the shift and weekend penalties the worker would have received, the employee shall be paid at the rate of the average of such payments made each week over the four weeks prior to taking leave.
