Reemployment From Indefinite Layoff. All laid off employees will have rehire rights for eighteen (18) months. An employee who is laid off shall be recalled in order of seniority into any vacant position within the bargaining unit for which the employee is qualified when the position is in the same classification (defined as the four (4) digits of the title codes). Employees who fail to take a position offered to them after reasonable notification will not be eligible for future positions.

  • Reemployment List 1. When all paid or unpaid leaves of absence have been exhausted following an industrial accident or industrial illness, an employee shall be placed on the reemployment list for the class from which he/she was on leave for a period not to exceed thirty-nine (39) months.

  • Reemployment Lists A. The following persons shall be placed on AGENCY/DEPARTMENTAL REINSTATEMENT LISTS as provided in 1., 2. and 3., below, in the order of their respective layoff points with the person having the largest number of layoff points listed first:

  • Layoff and Reemployment A. Application Whenever it is necessary because of a lack of work or funds, or whenever it is advisable in the interest of economy to reduce the number of permanent and/or probationary employees (hereinafter known as "employees") in any State agency, the State may lay off employees pursuant to this Section.

If an employee is reemployed after retiring from state service, when the employee subsequently retires or dies, only unused sick leave accrued since the date of reemployment minus sick leave taken within the same period will be eligible for sick leave separation cash out, in accordance with 12.7 above.

  • Cyclic Employment Leave Leave without pay will be granted to cyclic year employees during their off season.

  • Separation from Employment Employees who leave the District with a vacation balance shall have their vacation balance cashed out. If vacation is loaded on July 1st, the vacation balance shall be pro-rated prior to cash out.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.

  • Recall from Vacation Leave Where, during any period of vacation leave, an employee is recalled to duty, such employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that such employee incurs:
