Regular Full-Time Category. All regular full-time employees shall accrue sick leave benefits at the rate of eight (8) hours for each month in WSCC service. Employees on Family Medical Leave shall accrue sick leave benefits at the rate of eight (8) hours for each month for months they are absent without pay for more than three (3) working days, up to a maximum of three (3) months per year from the original date of the Family Medical Leave. Employees may not use sick leave for their first ninety (90) days of employment, although sick leave will accrue during that period. If a regular full-time employee is in a without pay status for part of a month, the employee would accrue sick leave based on a prorated basis (actual hours worked in a calendar month/2080 x 96 (maximum full- time annual accrual of sick leave) . If a regular full-time employee is in a leave without pay status for the entire month, the employee will not earn sick time.

  • Regular Full-Time A regular full-time employee is any person employed on a full-time permanent basis whose duties fall within the bargaining unit as defined in Article 2 of this Agreement and who has completed the probationary period.
