Reimbursement of fares for other purposes. (a) For the purposes of this clause reimbursement will be: (i) up to the cost of an economy return airfare (best fare of the day) for authorised travel only within Australia; and (ii) subject to you providing suitable evidence of incurring the cost. (b) Medical or dental treatment (i) Reimbursement for the cost of travel for medical or dental treatment for you and your eligible dependants will be approved where there is no resident practitioner at the location and/or for specialist medical treatment. (ii) Reasonable accommodation costs will also be reimbursed where circumstances prevented you or your eligible dependent from returning home on the same day. (iii) Fares and accommodation will not be reimbursed where a community scheme (e.g. Royal Flying Doctor service) provides such assistance. Any contributions required under a community scheme will be reimbursed, as will reasonably receipted accommodation expenses if the community scheme only partially meets those costs.

(d) Eligible dependant/s attending school‌ (i) If you are an ongoing employee, reimbursement for the cost of fares will be approved for your eligible dependant/s that ordinarily reside with you and are required to receive their primary or secondary schooling in a place away from your locality where there is not a community scheme for that purpose. (ii) Reimbursement is limited to two reunion visits each full school year; or where your dependant/s does not attend a school outside the locality for the full year, one visit in any six month period. (iii) The secretary may approve reimbursement of an additional fare where the dependant/s attend a school which has four terms per school year or where exceptional circumstances exist. (e) Term transfer fares‌ (i) If you are an ongoing employee assigned duties on term transfer to a remote locality, with eligible dependants residing at your former locality you will be reimbursed the cost of travel for the purpose of reunion. (ii) Reimbursement is limited to six reunion visits in any one year beginning on the day that you commenced the term transfer. Reimbursement of fares for other purposes. (a) The department will provide, as a benefit to all employees stationed at localities listed in Table 5 and Table 6, access to fares assistance for compassionate purposes under this clause. Reimbursement of fares or motor vehicle allowance to the value of an economy return airfare will be approved by the Secretary for an ongoing employee working in a Remote Locality office where: (i) the employee or eligible dependent of the employee is required to travel for medical or dental treatment where there is no resident practitioner at the location and/or for specialist medical treatment; or (ii) a member of the employee’s family (as defined) dies, becomes critically or dangerously ill and the employee or employee’s partner travels to either attend the funeral or to visit the ill family member; or (iii) reimbursement of reasonable accommodation costs incurred, when travel is for medical or dental treatment and circumstances prevent the employee or dependent from returning home on the same day, will be paid on receipts presented. (b) Reimbursement of fares will only be authorised for travel within Australia on presentation of a medical certificate/statement or other documentary evidence providing details of the patient, their condition and, where assistance is sought for treatment, the nature, necessity and urgency for that treatment.   • REIMBURSEMENT OF FEES AND COSTS The Parties acknowledge that Xxxxxxx and her counsel offered to reach preliminary agreement on the material terms of this dispute before reaching terms on the amount of fees and costs to be reimbursed to them. The Parties thereafter reached an accord on the compensation due to Xxxxxxx and her counsel under general contract principles and the private attorney general doctrine and principles codified at California Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5, for all work performed through the mutual execution of this agreement. Under these legal principles, ABG shall reimburse Xxxxxxx’s counsel for fees and costs incurred as a result of investigating and bringing this matter to ABG’s attention, and negotiating a settlement in the public interest.   • Reimbursement of Eligible Costs To be eligible for reimbursement, the Engineer's costs must (1) be incurred in accordance with the terms of a valid work authorization; (2) be in accordance with Attachment E, Fee Schedule; and (3) comply with cost principles set forth at 48 CFR Part 31, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 31). Satisfactory progress of work shall be maintained as a condition of payment.
