Renter Responsibilities. A. Wedding or Large Event Items Requested These items must be turned in to facility manager one week prior to renting the facility. 1. Recommended 1,000,000 Liability Insurance Policy (obtained through an insurance company) (The Town of Danville, Staff and the Board must be named as additionally insured) 2. State Alcohol permit copy to serve alcohol or catering permit posted on front door the day of rental. (Takes 3 weeks to obtain) xxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/atc/2460.htm B. Facility Hours 1. 6am– Midnight C. Alcohol Use 1. Alcohol will only be permitted at The Xxxxxxx House. Glass beverage bottles are prohibited in all parks and facilities. Alcohol is not permitted inside the limits of Ellis Park. 2. State Alcohol permit must be posted on the front door of facility. Permits are issued through the state and take three weeks to process. 3. All alcohol used on the property shall be served by a catering service holding a current permit from the Alcohol Beverage Commission authorizing the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. 4. Alcoholic Beverages may be serviced only in designated locations and may be consumed only inside the Xxxxxxx House building or on the grounds of the property behind the building. No alcoholic beverage shall be brought onto or taken from the premises by anyone other than the catering service. 5. All state laws governing alcohol sales, service and consumption must be followed. Any indication that alcohol is being served to or consumed by persons under 21, or being supplied by persons other than the caterers, may result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement (i.e. the event will be stopped) with no refund of rental fees or deposit. 6. The catering service shall discontinue alcohol service if continued alcohol consumption at the event may reasonably be expected to result in damage to the house or grounds, harm to any event participant, neighbor or the public at large or in any violation of these rules 7. All alcoholic beverage service shall be stopped one hour prior to the end of the reserved use period. D. Set-up/Take-down 1. Rental time includes any set-up and take-down. All outdoor event set-up is included in rental time. No persons shall set up or use the facility or its grounds prior to rental times or risk possible cancellation or loss of deposit. Renter Responsibilities. In order to maintain a safe and secure environment within the building and on the grounds of The Waldorf School of Garden City, all renters and renting organizations must require that their event participants comply with the Rules, Regulations and Responsibilities for our school as outlined below. Please read each of these requirements carefully and share them with your group as you deem appropriate.

Renter Responsibilities a) Renter shall promote the event. b) All facilities used by the Renter shall be maintained by the Renter during the event, providing a safe facility for all users, and all areas shall be restored to original condition of cleanliness and appearance before vacating the premises. c) Renter shall provide Town with insurance as stated in Section 9 of this Agreement.
Renter Responsibilities. 1. Renter is solely responsible for cleaning the Facility following the Renter’s use. This includes, but is not limited to, removing all the Renter’s property and items brought to the Facility by guests and agents and proper disposal of all trash, refuse, and debris by the end of the rental period. 2. Renter is solely responsible for cleaning tables, chairs, counters, range, and refrigerator. Dishes are to washed, dried, and put away. If you elect to use dishwasher then dishwasher must be emptied before departing Facility. (Failure to empty dishwasher will result in a charge to the Cleaning Deposit.) Renter shall vacuum and clean the carpets, mop the kitchen floor, sweep and mop the wood floors, and clean the bathrooms to restore the Facility to the condition at the time prior to the rental. Renter will notify SVHOA manager of any stains or other damage incurred during the rental of the Farmhouse. The Farmhouse will be inspected by SVHOA management after use by the Renter to assure compliance with this paragraph. Once the requirements of this paragraph are verified, the Renter will be notified and Renter’s Cleaning Deposit will be returned or shredded. If additional cleaning is required, the Cleaning Deposit will be used to cover any expenses incurred for cleaning the Facility in accordance with Paragraph 12 of Conditions of Use. Any portion of the Cleaning Deposit in excess of the costs of cleaning will be refunded to the Renter. 3. Any items affixed with tape must be removed and all tape removed at the end of the event. 4. Renter will ensure that all guests and other users of the Farmhouse abide by all rules and requirements of the Surprise Valley HOA. 5. Renter will notify all guests that parking is available in the parking lot in front of the Farmhouse, across the street by the Community Garden, and in the neighborhood directly across Surprise Way. Parking is NOT permitted on Surprise Way and vehicle is subject to towing per city ordinance. 6. All security gates must remain closed. 7. All walkways along the decks, stairs, and access to emergency phone must remain clear at all times.

Renter agrees to submit the inspection and usage sheets to WSDOT as directed. 4.3 Renter agrees to pay all costs of transporting the equipment from and to designated WSDOT locations. 4.4 Renter agrees to pay for fuel, oil, grease, fluids and all other daily, periodic, or routine costs of operating the equipment. 4.5 Renter will provide for security of the equipment and will be financially responsible for all equipment damages from vandalism or third party actions while the equipment is in its possession.
