Report-in Time. Employees who report for work in accordance with their regular schedules, and without previous notice thereof, neither their regularly assigned nor any reasonably comparable work is available will receive not less than four hours pay at the rate applicable had they worked, but this provision shall not be applicable when such unavailability of work is beyond the control of the Company.

Report-in Time. A driver will only need to report for actual driving and safety check time, regardless of the amount of hours he/she is being paid. Driver will check in and out, a.m. and p.m., at the check in board.

As a condition for receiving payment under this policy, employees may be assigned any available work for which they are qualified. This policy shall not be applicable where the inability of the Company to supply work is the result of natural disaster, fire, snowstorm, flood, power failure or other events outside the Company’s control.
Report-in Time. For the purposes of Subsections (a), (b) and (c) only, the employee’s scheduled report-in time on the first day of work during each week shall be considered his regular starting time and, for the remainder of that week, premium for early report-in shall be determined on the basis of the starting time thus established. The starting time for this purpose shall be redetermined each week. Employees who are sent home after reporting for work in accordance with their regular schedules or employees who are notified in advance of work schedules on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays who are sent home after reporting for such work because without previous notice thereof, neither their regularly assigned nor any reasonably comparable work is available, will receive not less than four hours pay at the rate applicable had they worked; but this Subsection (e) shall not be applicable when such unavailability of work is caused by fire, snowstorm, flood, power failure or work stoppage by employees in the same Company location. Qualified pieceworkers will be paid at least their anticipated earned rate. Learners on piecework will be paid their average earnings if less than the anticipated earned rate.

It is agreed that the foregoing provision will not apply in the case of failure of a public utility to furnish service without having given the Company twenty-four (24) hours' notice.

  • Prep Time ‌ Each teacher shall be provided daily with a minimum of an uninterrupted sixty (60) minute preparation period, except that an emergency, as determined by the Appointing Authority, within an institution may temporarily necessitate other assignments. During prep time, teachers must be allowed full access to their class room or designated workspace without disruption.
