Resident Involvement. The Grantee will xxxxxx the involvement of, and gather input and recommendations from, affected residents throughout the entire development process. This involvement of affected residents is broader than resident participation in the Community Task Force provided for in paragraph (C) of this Article. The Grantee's specific responsibilities for involving affected residents in revitalization efforts include:

Resident Involvement. 15.1 SHP shall promote and maximise the opportunities for resident involvement in service delivery. In so doing SHP shall produce and maintain, in consultation with residents and their representative bodies, a Resident Engagement Strategy setting out how SHP will facilitate and support resident involvement and the roles to be played by representative bodies, including individual tenant and resident associations, the Sutton Federation of Tenant and Residents Associations, the Sutton Leaseholders Association and any subsequently set up representative bodies.

It is this facet of program operation that ensures that the property begins as a viable community in our portfolio and of itself and, at the same time, remains part of the greater community from which its residents originated. Third, to create an atmosphere in which residents can continue to contribute and grow, we encourage and assist each property’s residents to form Resident organizations. These organizations provide the opportunity for residents to obtain further community interaction, be they formal educational or just plain fun. Some Resident Organizations sponsor meal programs for residents and other in the community and all provide the opportunity for residents to interact with each other, and the general community, on a group basis.
