Rest Periods/Overtime. Employees who are required to work overtime at the completion of their daily shift shall receive an uninterrupted twenty (20) minute rest period with pay at the conclusion of the first one-half (½) hour of overtime worked providing the overtime is for two (2) hours or more, and shall receive an additional uninterrupted twenty (20) minute rest period with pay at the conclusion of each additional two (2) hours of overtime worked.

Rest Periods/Overtime. Employees who are required to work overtime on the completion of their seven and a half (7.5) or twelve (12) hour shift shall not be entitled to a paid rest period in situations where the overtime amounts to one (1) hour or less in duration. Employees who are required to work overtime on the completion of their seven and a half (7.5) or twelve (12) hour shift shall receive one (1) uninterrupted fifteen (15) minute rest period with pay in situations where the overtime is for more than one (1) hour but less than four (4) hours in duration. Said rest period shall be taken at approximately the midpoint of the overtime being worked. Employees who are required to work four (4) or more hours of overtime at the conclusion of their seven and a half (7.5) or twelve (12) hour shift shall receive one (1) uninterrupted fifteen (15) minute rest period with pay immediately following the conclusion of said seven and a half (7.5) or twelve (12) hour shift and shall receive an additional uninterrupted fifteen (15) minute rest period with pay at the conclusion of each additional two (2) hours of overtime worked. The Company shall provide and pay for a meal to each employee who works four (4) or more hours of overtime, but who is given less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to do so. Such meal will not exceed ten ($10.00) dollars per employee. All overtime rest periods are to be recorded in accordance with the provisions contained in Article 6.06, Time Clock.

  • Rest Period After Overtime (a) When overtime work is necessary, it will, wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days or shifts, including overtime.

  • Overtime Rest Periods If an employee is assigned one (1) or more hours of overtime work contiguous to his/her regular workshift or is called back within one (1) hour of his/her scheduled quitting time, the Agency will provide a fifteen (15) minute rest period after two (2) hours of overtime completed.

  • Overtime-Eligible Rest Periods ‌ The Employer and the Union agree to rest periods that vary from and supersede the rest periods required by WAC 000-000-000. Employees will be allowed rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes for each one-half (1/2) shift of four (4) or more hours worked at or near the middle of each one-half (1/2) shift of four (4) or more hours. Rest periods do not require relief from duty. Rest periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and rest and meal periods will not be combined.

  • Rest Periods Employees working a full shift will receive one rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in each half of the shift. Employees working less than a full shift, but a minimum of four (4) hours will receive one fifteen (15) minute rest period.

  • Rest Period An employee who works overtime shall have at least a ten hour rest period between the end of ordinary hours on any one day and start of ordinary hours on the next day. If on the instructions of the employer, the employee resumes or continues work without having had 10 consecutive hours off duty, the employee shall be paid double time until he or she is released from duty for ten hour rest period. The employee shall then be entitled to be absent without loss of pay for ordinary working hours occurring during the ten hour rest period. In the case of shift workers, eight hours shall be substituted for ten hours when overtime is worked:

  • Interest Periods In connection with each LIBOR Rate Loan, the Borrower, by giving notice at the times described in Section 3.1(a), shall elect an interest period (each, an "Interest Period") to be applicable to such Loan, which Interest Period shall be a period of one (1), two (2), three (3) or six (6) months with respect to each LIBOR Rate Loan; provided that:

  • Paid Rest Periods All Employees shall be given a paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in the first and second half of their daily shift in an area made available by the Employer. If mutually agreed to between the parties, the two (2) rest periods shall be combined.

  • Meal Periods and Rest Periods (a) Regular hours of work shall include, as scheduled by the Employer, two (2) rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes during each shift of seven and three- quarter (7 3/4) hours and exclude an unpaid meal period of not less than thirty (30) minutes.

  • Meal/Rest Periods All nurses shall receive an unpaid meal period of one-half (1/2) hour. Nurses required to remain on duty or in the Hospital during their meal period shall be compensated for such time at the appropriate rate of pay. All nurses shall receive one (1) fifteen

  • Rest Periods and Meal Breaks (a) All employees shall have two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each work period in excess of six (6) hours, one (1) rest period to be granted before and one (1) after the meal period, provided the staff to child ratio can be maintained. It is understood that meal breaks and rest periods may be combined subject to operational requirements.
