Retention of Seniority and Benefits. An employee on layoff shall retain employment status and benefits accrued to the date of commencement of layoff, but that employee shall not accrue seniority and benefits while on layoff.

Retention of Seniority and Benefits on Lay-Off Laid off employees with more than six (6) month's service shall retain their seniority for a period of one year and maintain their insured benefits to the end of the month in which the layoff occurs and shall retain previously accrued vacation and sick benefits for a period of one (1) year. Laid off employees with more than six (6) months' service will continue to accrue seniority for the first thirty (30) calendar days. For periods in excess of thirty (30) calendar days seniority will not accrue.
Retention of Seniority and Benefits. A nurse on an authorized leave of absence will retain seniority. PTO benefits shall not continue to accrue while the employee is on leave of absence. Leave with pay shall not alter a nurse's anniversary date of employment or otherwise affect the nurse's compensation status with the Hospital. Unpaid leave of absence of thirty (30) days or less within an anniversary year shall not alter a nurse's anniversary date of employment. The nurse's straight time hourly rate of pay shall not be less than that paid prior to the granting of the leave of absence.

  • Retention of Seniority (a) Any employee, other than a probationary employee, whose employment ceases through no fault of his own, shall retain seniority and shall be recalled on the following basis:
