Retirement and Resignation Dates. L4.10.01 The following resignation dates shall not apply to Teachers who are Surplus to the System as described in Article L37.
Retirement and Resignation Dates. 9.01 The Teacher, other than in a case of Occasional Teachers, shall provide written notice by November 30 of the intention to resign or retire effective December 31 or January 31 (end of semester 1), and by April 30 of the intention to resign or retire effective June 30 or August 31. This Article shall not apply to Teachers surplus to the system which is governed by Articles 53 and 54.
Retirement and Resignation Dates. 38.01 Retirements or resignations effective at the end of the school year will be accepted up to March 30th in that year. Later resignations may be accepted, subject to staffing considerations.
Retirement and Resignation Dates shall not apply. To qualify for a Commuted Value Pension payment, the Teacher shall provide a written resignation letter for the purpose of retirement, by November 30 to be effective December 31, and by April 30 if the Teacher intends to retire effective June 30. Every effort will be made to encourage the Teacher to plan the retirement date such that it minimizes disruption to program delivery.
