Prime Time Vacation. (i) It is understood between the parties that prime time includes the periods of June 15th to September 15th, inclusive.
(ii) The maximum amount of vacation that may be requested by any full-time employee during prime time vacation will be ten
Prime Time Vacation. Vacation weeks inclusive of July 1st to August 31st and the last two (2) weeks in December.
Prime Time Vacation. During Memorial Day through Labor Day, a maximum 2 vacation period of one and one half (1.5x) times the nurse’s two (2) week 3 regularly scheduled hours will be approved off as vacation. For example, a nurse 4 scheduled for eighty (80) hours in a two (2) week period would be allowed to take 5 up to one hundred twenty (120) hours of ETO during prime time; a forty-eight 6 (48) hour nurse in a two (2) week pay period would allowed to take up to 7 seventy-two (72) hours of ETO during prime time.
Prime Time Vacation. In the case of employees receiving three (3), four (4), five (5), six (6), or seven (7) weeks' vacation, one (1) week, two (2) weeks or three (3) weeks, whichever is applicable, must be taken within the periods January 15th to April 30th or September 1st to November 15th, the employee to state in January the date he prefers to take this week(s). Exceptions to the foregoing will be granted upon request to the employee's immediate Supervisor, provided that the request is consistent with Section 7.4.
Prime Time Vacation. Prime time is defined as the time period 23 beginning on Memorial Day and through Labor Day. The following provisions will be 24 applied by the Hospital in responding to requests for time off during prime time: 25 During prime time, nurses are limited to requests of no more than two (2) weeks of 26 ETO. Additional weeks can be granted at management’s discretion. For full time RNs, 2 27 weeks shall be defined as 6 shifts for 12 hour RNs, 8 shifts for 10 hour RNs, and 10 28 shifts for 8 hour RNs. This shall be prorated for part time RNs, to equal approximately 2 29 weeks of the part time nurses regular schedule.
Prime Time Vacation. Prime Time Vacation will be identified for the purposes of Article I-4 as June 30 – September 15. The entire schedule for the Prime Time Vacation Period will be posted not later than May 15 of each year.
(a) Vacation requests for Prime Time will be submitted as per Article I-3. Employees may choose to submit a first and second choice for Prime Time Vacation requests, however it is understood that seniority will be the deciding factor, specifically where there is a conflict, senior Employees will be granted their first choice prior to Employees junior to them.
(b) Employees who have one (1) to twelve (12) years of service may be granted no more than two (2) weeks vacation during the Prime Time Vacation Period.
(c) Employees who have thirteen (13) to twenty-seven (27) years of service may be granted no more than three (3) weeks vacation during the Prime Time Vacation Period.
(d) Employees who have more than twenty-seven (27) years of service may be granted no more than four (4) weeks vacation during the Prime Time Vacation Period.
(e) Vacation requests for full weeks will have precedence over less than full week requests during Prime Time, provided they are submitted in accordance with Article I.
(f) For Prime Time Vacation requests one (1) week will be defined as Monday through Sunday. I-5 Additional vacation requests will be considered, only after all Employees have had their Prime Time Vacation Requests submitted in accordance with I-3, and Prime Time Vacation requests have been approved. Approval of such requests will not be unreasonably denied.

Prime Time Vacation. A Prime Time vacation period shall be defined as June 1 through September 15 of each year. The Prime Time request period shall be from January 1 through March 31 of each year. In the event of conflicting requests for vacation time by two or more employees within a unit during the request period, seniority shall prevail. The Unit Director shall post the approved vacation schedule by each April 15. Requests for Prime Time vacation submitted after the request period will be granted on a first come first serve basis. As a general rule, no more than two (2) weeks’ vacation may be taken during Prime Time. Special requests for more than two (2) weeks may be considered after all vacation requests for Prime Time have been scheduled and posted. An employee requesting a vacation outside of Prime Time shall request the desired vacation time as far in advance as possible, but not less than two (2) weeks before the work scheduled is posted. If the request for vacation is more than sixty (60) days from the date of submittal, the Employer will make a good faith effort to respond to the employee as soon as is practical, but not less than thirty (30) days prior to the posting of the work schedule in which the vacation request has been made.
Prime Time Vacation a. The prime time period will consist of the week before and after Easter, the first full week in May until the last full week in September, Thanksgiving week, December 26 – December 31 and January 2 to January 8.
b. Fifteen percent (15%) of the employees covered by this agreement will be granted leave during the prime time period, except for December 26 thru December 31.
c. Twenty percent (20%) of the employees covered by this agreement will be granted leave during the prime time period of December 26 thru December 31.
d. First selection posting to begin on first Monday in February and end thirteen days later on Saturday.
e. All selections to be awarded by seniority must be in full consecutive weeks. First selection to be awarded by seniority.
f. Second selection posting to begin the Wednesday following the close of the first selection period, and end seven (7) days later.
g. With finalized cop of approved leave to be given to the Union.
Prime Time Vacation. Nurses may make requests for prime time summer (June - August) vacations. Requests shall be submitted by April 15 to the individual responsible for the scheduling of the unit and will be approved on a seniority basis by May 1, provided the operational needs of the Hospital are met. Requests can be made for vacation hours that will be accrued by the time the vacation occurs. Nurses may at the same time request second and third priorities for prime time vacations in the event their first choice is not available.
