Right to Return to Former Position. (a) A regular Employee who is displaced or laid off from his position under this Agreement shall have the right for a period of two (2) years from the date of the displacement or layoff to return to the position he held immediately prior to the displacement or layoff or to be able to acquire a job through the job posting procedure.
Right to Return to Former Position. 25.07 An employee who is granted leave under any article of this Agreement shall have the right to return to his/her former position upon the termination of such leave, except as otherwise specifically provided.
Right to Return to Former Position. Employees that are promoted or transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit shall retain seniority rights in the position which they held prior to the promotion or transfer for a period of six (6) months. During this six (6) month period they may return to their former position at their own request, or as a decision of management, without loss of seniority or other accumulated rights, except for promotions which may have taken place during their absence. It is agreed that during this period the employee will not participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
Right to Return to Former Position. An employee who has been laid off or displaced by another employee, and who has chosen to bump in lieu of layoff shall be permitted to return to his/her former position in the event of a vacancy for a period of one (1) year or the length of the employee's seniority at the time of displacement, whichever is shorter.
Right to Return to Former Position. For up to four (4) months after promotion, any employee promoted to a higher job classification who fails to achieve a satisfactory level of performance shall have the right to return to the job from which he was promoted. In the event an employee needs more time in his new position, if mutually agreed upon by the association and administration, the time frame can be extended up to six (6) months.
Right to Return to Former Position. Bargaining unit employees who transfer or are promoted to a position with Intercity Transit shall have the right to return to their former position for a period not to exceed six (6) months. Any employee exercising their right to return to their former position shall have the same seniority as of the time they transferred out, but in no case will they accumulate seniority while working outside of the Bargaining Unit.
Right to Return to Former Position. An employee who has been redeployed, shall have the right to return to the position held prior to their redeployment, should the position become vacant during the eighteen (18) month period following placement in accordance with this Article. In the event there is more than one
Right to Return to Former Position. An Employee returning to work after the expiration of parental leave shall be entitled to the position which they held immediately before proceeding on parental leave.
Right to Return to Former Position. 4.5.1 Employees have sixty (60) calendar days after reporting to a new and different position to voluntarily return to their former position. This right provides a one-time ability to return for any reason. Any subsequent request to return to their former position within a rolling five (5) year period from the date of award must be mutually agreed upon by the Union and the Company. An employee still retains the right to bid on any position posting at any time. The employee will not continue to accumulate Job or Line of Progression seniority while they are away from the former position.
Right to Return to Former Position. 25.19 The employee has a right to return to their former position after parental leave. Former position is defined as a position as close as possible to that held by the employee immediately prior to the commencement of leave; except where by reason only of the pregnancy an employee has been transferred to a more suitable or safe position before commencing parental leave, the position held immediately before the employee transferred to the temporarily suitable or safe position.
