Roster Days Off. Implementation of the 38 hour week will be by the taking of 1 roster day off in each 4 week period or by other agreed methods. To assist planning purposes a suggested set of site roster days off will be determined by the agreed consultative methods during November for the following year. Where these days do not suit a particular section, alternate arrangements will be determined with consultation at sectional level during December for the following year. Scheduled roster days off may be varied through the agreed consultative process to meet market or business requirements. Where the parties are unable to reach agreement through this process such change may be dealt with by Clause 31 Dispute Settlement Procedure. Where agreed to by the Company and employees or majority of employees involved, variation may take place on an individual, sectional or team basis.

Roster Days Off. 15.2.1 The factory will operate on all normal working days of the month. Work teams will be responsible for setting their own roster days off in conjunction with production management. Approval of proposed rosters would be subject to the following considerations:
Roster Days Off. Persons covered under this workplace agreement currently work an additional half (0.5) of one hour per day to accumulate towards a rostered day off.

  • Days Off 17.1 The Employer shall schedule two (2) consecutive days off for each employee each week provided that it is recognized that due to the nature of the Employer’s operation in providing a public service, the scheduling of two (2) consecutive days off may not always be feasible. The employer may request through the union that the employee forego two consecutive days off.

  • Rostered Days Off 36.1 The ordinary working hours shall be worked in a 10 day/2 week cycle, Monday to Friday inclusive with eight hours worked on each of nine days within the cycle and with 0.8 of an hour on each of those days accruing toward the tenth day, which shall be taken as a paid day off. The tenth day will be known as the Rostered Day Off or (RDO).

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.

  • Consecutive Days Off The Employer shall schedule consecutive days off for all full-time employees except where a full-time employee requests otherwise. Where possible, part-time employees shall have consecutive days off every second week. Where it can be demonstrated by the Shop Xxxxxxx, to the Employer’s satisfaction, that scheduling of consecutive days off can be accomplished without an adverse effect on the operation of the department, the Employer shall do so.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.

  • Overtime Lieu Time Where an employee has worked an accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where the applicable rate I time and one-half, then time off shall be at one and one-half times. Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken within the succeeding two pay periods of the occurrence of the overtime at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and the employee, or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. An employee shall not be required to take time off to avoid payment of overtime.
