SALARY SCHEDULE AND PROGRESSION. Effective on the first day of the first full pay period after September 1, 2021 or the first day of the first full pay period beginning after this MOU is adopted by the City Council and signed by the parties, whichever is later, base salary rates under this Memorandum of Understanding shall be increased by an amount equal to three percent (3.0%) of the base salary rates in effect August 31, 2021. The salary rates for all classifications before and after the various adjustment dates set forth in this subsection 9.1 are listed on “Appendix A” of this Memorandum of Understanding. Effective on the first day of the first pay period beginning after September 1, 2022 base salary rates under this Memorandum of Understanding shall be increased by an amount equal to three percent (3.0%) of the base salary rates in effect August 31, 2022. The salary rates for all classifications before and after the various adjustment dates set forth in this paragraph are listed on “Appendix A” of this Memorandum of Understanding. Except as herein otherwise provided, the entrance salary for a new employee entering City service shall be the minimum salary for the class to which appointed. When circumstances warrant, the City Manager, or designee, may approve an entrance salary, which is more than the minimum salary. The City Manager's or designee's decision shall be final. Such a salary may not be more than the maximum salary for the class to which that employee is appointed. No increase in salary shall be automatic merely upon completion of a specified period of service. All increases shall be based on merit as established by record of the employee's performance and shall require recommendation of the Department Head and approval by the City Manager. In case of an unsatisfactory employee performance evaluation, an increase in salary may be withheld. An employee who is denied an increase in salary may discuss such denial with his/her Department Head and the City Manager. The decision of the City Manager shall be final. An employee who does not receive a performance evaluation in a timely manner is encouraged to so inform the City's Human Resources Manager. No employee shall be discriminated against because of the exercise of rights under this Sub-Section. If the City Manager at any time determines that it is in the City's interest, he/she may assign an employee to a higher rate within the salary range fixed for the classification.   • Salary Schedule The salaries of Employees covered by this Agreement are set forth in the salary schedule in Appendix B which is attached to and incorporated into this Agreement.

  • SCHEDULE AND MILESTONES The Parties shall execute one (1) Annex concurrently with this Umbrella Agreement. The initial Annex and any subsequent Annexes will be performed on the schedule and in accordance with the milestones set forth in each respective Annex.

  • Attachment A, Scope of Services The scope of services is amended as follows:

  • Change in Scope of Work Any change in the scope of the Work, method of performance, nature of materials or price thereof, or any other matter materially affecting the performance or nature of the Work shall not be paid for or accepted unless such change, addition, or deletion is approved in advance and in writing by a valid change order executed by the District. Contractor specifically understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the District shall have the right to request any alterations, deviations, reductions, or additions to the Project or Work, and the cost thereof shall be added to or deducted from the amount of the Contract Price by fair and reasonable valuations. Contractor also agrees to provide the District with all information requested to substantiate the cost of the change order and to inform the District whether the Work will be done by the Contractor or a subcontractor. In addition to any other information requested, Contractor shall submit, prior to approval of the change order, its request for a time extension (if any), as well as all information necessary to substantiate its belief that such change will delay the completion of the Work. If Contractor fails to submit its request for a time extension or the necessary supporting information, it shall be deemed to have waived its right to request such extension.
