SCHEDULING COMMITTEES. The Employer agrees that a schedule that is supported by the employees who work it is the best business practice. The Union acknowledges that scheduling is complex and impacts employees in individual ways. The parties will establish Departmental Scheduling Committees within sixty (60) days of ratification for each department and with an equal number of members selected by both parties. At a minimum, there will be one (1) Union appointed full-time employee and one (1) Union appointed part-time employee for each Committee.

SCHEDULING COMMITTEES. The County or the Association may ask to convene a joint 5 management and employee scheduling committee(s) on an as-needed basis to consult on alternative 6 staffing patterns/schedules, employee self-scheduling, or shared staffing.
SCHEDULING COMMITTEES. The parties discussed scheduling at great length during negotiations and the need for the Employer to operate its business efficiently while ensuring that employees are able to maintain a personal/family life. Schedules will be established in accordance with the Scheduling Committee Process agreed to by the Employer and the Union. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #4 – 32-HOUR WORK WEEK The parties recognize that there are existing full-time employees at OLG Slots at Woodbine who have entered into an agreement whereby they have elected, and been approved for, a 32-hour work week. The terms of that agreement impact eligibility for a variety of programs and leaves, including pension, vacation and sick benefits. These employees remain bound to the terms of that agreement and it is agreed that the terms of that agreement supersede any provisions of this Collective Agreement that conflict with the terms of 32-hour work week agreement. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #5 – FT/PT COMPLEMENT In negotiations, the parties discussed the operational needs of the Slot facility and the difficulties of scheduling and managing in an operation with a changing patron counts. It was discussed that the full-time employment and part-time employment should each be used where appropriate and noted that there should be a preference for the creation of full-time employment where there is a regular and consistent schedule of full-time work available to be performed. OLG Slots at Woodbine Management Representatives and Union Representatives shall meet twice per year to discuss the full-time and part- time complement. While the Employer is open to discussing staffing with the Union, and is committed to identifying and filling full-time positions when feasible, the Employer retains the right to make the final determination on staffing complements in accordance with the provision of the Agreement.

  • Scheduling Committee (a) The parties agree to the formation of a Scheduling Committee to discuss and assist in resolving scheduling issues.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • Advisory Committees The Board may appoint Advisory Committees to review design review applications, or provide input on other issues of concern to the Board or the Commission. These Advisory Committees include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Monitoring Committee The Monitoring Committee shall be established within six months of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. Its role is stipulated in the Regulation, in particular Article 4.4 thereof.

  • Standing Committees A. The parties agree to participate in collaborative committee work structured as follows to improve workplace conditions, including but not limited to insurance, supplemental salary options (Article 7.2), professional development (LPDC) (Article 6.11(F)), Master Teacher, Association/ Administration Council, evaluation (OTES), career lattice, calendar (Article 8.1) and any and all other contractual issues.

  • Operating Committee the Consortium’s managing body, composed of representatives of the Manager and the Contractors, pursuant to Annex XI.

  • Steering Committee The Project Manager shall set up a Steering Committee for the Project, consisting of representatives from the Department, the Contractor, and any other key organisations whom the project will impact on, to be agreed between the parties. The function of the Steering Committee shall be to review the scope and direction of the Project against its aims and objectives, monitor progress and efficiency, and assess, manage and review expected impact and use of the findings from the Project. The Committee shall meet at times and dates agreed by the parties, or in the absence of agreement, specified by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall report their views on the progress of the Project to the Steering Committee in writing if requested by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall attend all meetings of the Steering Committee unless otherwise agreed by the Department.

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE 8.1.0 A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.
