School Leave. An officer may be granted school leave, with salary and benefits, non-chargeable against any of the other leaves, upon recommendation of the Police Chief and approval of the City Manager or his/her designee, to attend conferences, schools, and similar events designed to improve his/her knowledge and considered as being beneficial and in the best interest of the City.
