Secondary Scheduling. This Memorandum of Agreement is entered into between Independent School District 281 and the Robbinsdale Federation of Teachers, Local 872. It is agreed that for scheduling purposes: Block scheduling at the secondary level will consist of three (3) daily blocks for instruction with one (1) block scheduled for personal preparation time; if not scheduled in block format, the schedule will reflect teaching of five (5) “skinnies” for instruction with one (1) “skinny” duty and an average of sixty (60) minutes personal preparation time per day for a full time teacher. Teachers will also have twenty (20) minutes per day average for electronic reporting time in addition to their personal preparation time. Part time teachers will reflect proportionate schedules based on these scheduling options. Secondary Scheduling. The parties recognize that the District may in the future discontinue “block scheduling”. Although they recognize the District’s right to change the student schedule, should the District elect to do so, planning time shall be adjusted such that no fewer than 250 minutes per week is provided on an average over a two-week period. For as long as the block schedule currently in effect remains, up to 30 minutes of the current 87 minutes of daily plan time may be used for assignment to non- teaching duties. These non-teaching duties will be assigned at the beginning and/or end of the scheduled plan time.
Secondary Scheduling. The administration shall attempt to design teaching schedules so no teacher in grades six (6) through twelve (12) teaches more than seven periods in an eight period day. The administration shall provide the teachers in these affected grades a copy of the proposed teaching schedule by the last teacher workday. In the event the administration is unable to design the teaching schedule so that no teacher in grades six (6) through twelve (12) teaches more than seven (7) periods per day, the affected teacher xxx notify the building principal within one week to discuss the proposed schedule. An Association representative may accompany the teacher. If the meeting between the teacher and the principal does not resolve the right to the matter, the Association shall have the right to present the issue at a special meeting of the Labor-Management Committee which may meet outside of the school year. The teacher has the following options:

If no external substitute teachers are available, additional teaching duties shall first be offered to volunteers from available members.   • Shift Scheduling The parties agree that the following shift schedules are examples of the type which will provide the flexibility required to meet the needs expressed above provided the provisions of Article VII Section 4 (b) (i) and (ii) have been met.

  • Work Scheduling Except at the request of an affected employee, no employee shall have the number of hours they are normally scheduled to work reduced as the result of the use of non-permanent employees such as, but not limited to: seasonal, intermittent, student interns, interns, interim, established term, or temporary employees, due to the performance of such employee’s duties by the nonpermanent employee.

  • Self Scheduling The Home and the Union may agree to implement a self-scheduling process. Self-scheduling is the mechanism by which employees in a Home create their own work schedules. The purpose of self scheduling is to improve job satisfaction and quality of work life for the participating employees. Self scheduling requires a collaboration of employees and management to ensure proper coverage of the Home and to meet the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that self scheduling will be negotiated locally by the Home and the Union and will include a trial period. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis.

  • Payment Scheduling The earliest possible Scheduled Payment Date for each Xxxxxx will be designated within the portion of the Site through which the Service is offered when you are scheduling the payment. Therefore, the Service will not permit you to select a Scheduled Payment Date less than the earliest possible Scheduled Payment Date designated for each Xxxxxx. When scheduling payments you must select a Scheduled Payment Date that is no later than the actual Due Date reflected on your Xxxxxx statement unless the Due Date falls on a non-Business Day. If the actual Due Date falls on a non-Business Day, you must select a Scheduled Payment Date that is at least one (1) Business Day before the actual Due Date. Scheduled Payment Dates must be prior to any late date or grace period. Depending on the method of payment, your Eligible Transaction Account may be debited prior to the Scheduled Payment Date. For example, if the selected method of payment is a draft, the draft arrives earlier than the Scheduled Payment Date due to expedited delivery by the postal service, and the Xxxxxx immediately deposits the draft, your Eligible Transaction Account may be debited earlier than the Scheduled Payment Date.

  • PTO Scheduling a. By November 15 of each year, the Company will post on appropriate bulletin boards a schedule showing the PTO days, which are available to each employee for the upcoming year.

  • Scheduling Checkout Protocols 35.13.1.1 Both Parties shall require all transaction schedules to be tagged in accord with the NERC tagging standard. For reserve sharing and other emergency schedules that are not tagged, the Parties will enter manual schedules after the fact into their respective scheduling systems.

  • Holiday Scheduling Work assignments for holidays shall be prepared in advance of the holiday and when work is available, employees shall be given an opportunity to request to either work or be off. Such requests shall be granted to the extent possible in keeping with the operating needs of the work unit. When all requests cannot be granted within a classification and within a work unit, they shall be granted on a rotating basis so that each employee’s desires will be met as many times as is possible for each year, subject to Paragraph

  • Overtime Scheduling (A) It is the intent of the City, consistent with efficient and effective operation of the Division of Police, to distribute in an equitable manner, all pre-scheduled overtime among all members. Recognition will be given to the qualifications of the members and the requirements placed on the City by any third party funding sources. Any complaints by members that pre-scheduled overtime is not being equitably distributed among all qualified members as described above may be brought by the Lodge directly to the Chief's attention at Step 3 of the Grievance Procedure and shall also be a proper subject for discussion in a Labor Relations Committee meeting. Inability to work a prescheduled overtime assignment due to illness or death in the family or injury will not require the member to charge such absence against sick leave or injury leave.
