Section 16.5. 41 Neither party shall be compelled to comply to any provision of this Agreement which conflicts with 42 State or Federal statutes or regulations promulgated pursuant thereto.
Section 16.5. 28 Employees required to remain overnight on District business shall be reimbursed for room and board 29 expenditures.
Section 16.5. 11 Employees required to drive personal vehicles from one building to another in the course of their 12 regular work will receive mileage allowance at the adopted District rate.
Section 16.5. 11 Staff development funds and procedural guidelines shall be incorporated into the labor agreement, by 12 reference, and must be tied to continued funding.
Section 16.5. 24 Each employee shall receive his/her salary in twelve (12) equal payments.
Section 16.5. 12 Employees required to remain overnight on District business shall be reimbursed for room and board 13 expenditures per District policy and procedures 6213 as revised 1/28/13 and 6213P as revised 9/15/15.
Section 16.5. 16 Annual increments shall be granted to all employees on September 1 of each year during the term of this 17 Agreement; provided, however, that new employees subject to this Agreement must have been hired prior 18 to the last day of February in order to be eligible for an increment during the first year.
Section 16.5. 17 Retroactive pay, where applicable, shall be paid on the first regular payday following execution of this 18 Agreement.
Section 16.5. 18 In the event either of the foregoing sections is determined to apply to any provision of this Agreement, 19 such provision shall be renegotiated pursuant to Section 16.1. 20 21 23 ARTICLE XVII 24 25 EDUCATION AND TRAINING 26
Section 16.5. 5 For the purpose of determining incremental steps on Schedule A, pay shall take effect on September 1 of 6 each year during the term of this Agreement; PROVIDED, the employee has been actively employed 7 continuously for at least six (6) months of the employee's previous employment year.
