Sick Leave Usage for Part-time Employees. Permanent part-time employees shall be entitled to use their accumulated sick leave credits in the following manner: (a) for the pay period in which sick leave begins and for the next full pay period thereafter, accumulated sick leave shall be granted based on guaranteed shifts and any extra pick-up shifts already scheduled; and, (b) for illness extending beyond the period covered in (a), accumulated sick leave shall be granted based on the part-time employees’ average weekly paid hours, in twenty-six (26) pay periods immediately prior to the pay period in which the illness commenced. In no case shall the amount sick leave be less than the employeesminimum employment guarantee.

  • Part-Time Employees Employees who are scheduled to work less than forty (40) hours per workweek.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.
