The Recipient shall: • Complete all site preparation, including space clearing, debris disposal, etc. • Obtain any equipment not procured in Task 1.6. • Notify CAM by email when task activities are complete.

The three phases include glycol (phase 1), condensing units (phase 2), and spiral freezers (phase 3). • Prepare mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering drawings and submit to City of Santa Xxxx for plan check. • Update drawings based on plan check comments and pull authority to construct permits related to mechanical, structural, and electrical installation. • Develop request for proposal materials based on the engineering drawings to get installation bids from refrigeration, electrical and structural contractors and finalize contractor selection. • Provide a Site Preparation and Equipment Procurement Memo for installation phases 1- 3 that shall include, but not be limited to: o Summary of the steps to prepare the site(s); o Copy of the performance specifications for all equipment purchased by this grant; o Summary of the bids received including bidder name; o Copies of the final procurement documents and purchase orders; and o Status of the planned installation including preliminary schedule for equipment delivery and installation for each site. The Recipient shall: • Procure equipment by: o Discussing equipment, electrical, and installation requirements with potential California-based vendors; o Finalizing equipment specifications; o Preparing Equipment List. For each item, provide the name of the item and make, model, size, capacity or other information as appropriate to the item. Items may include additional evaporator stages, heat exchangers, electric pumps and motors, electrical panels and other upgrades, MVR units, insulation for holding tanks and pipes, M&V sensors and related equipment, machine-to-machine communications for automation, and plant automation software with artificial intelligence; o Issuing bid documents, reviewing responses, and selecting California-based vendors; and o Placing equipment orders in a staggered fashion to correspond with proposed installation timeline. • Secure all permits needed for installation of all equipment. • Prepare proposed locations at the site for installation of the new equipment.
