Site Logistics. All haul roads will be built and maintained by site contractor. Laydown area is available to each subcontractor as needed. Work will only take place in the day time unless light towers are installed to provide workers with adequate visibility. Wash out areas will be provided to concrete trucks and pump trucks in areas that will not affect traffic. Xxxxxxxxx & Xxxxxx will manage trash dumpsters on the project.

Site Logistics. 1. Main gates and secondary gates for entering and exiting the site will be in accordance with the approved CDOT construction logistics plan. Owner will work with CDOT to use best efforts to identify a system where primary loading and access will be off of Lincoln Avenue for Subareas A1, A2, B, C, D, E and G. 2. Owner shall direct all contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to park in the Parking Structure and not on neighborhood streets, except when not possible due to construction work being performed on the Parking Structure. 3. Owner will provide customary and reasonable security measures to keep the Property safe and secure during the demolition and construction periods and will keep the site secure 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 4. Loading and unloading of the site will be done in accordance with the Logistics plan that is presented to and approved by CDOT. Owner will make best efforts to stage trucks on the property but at some stages of the project a small number of trucks may need to be staged on Lincoln Avenue. Unnecessary idling will be kept to a minimum.
Site Logistics. A. Access to and egress from the construction site and any other construction areas within WMATA property shall be through designated entrances only. The station may be utilized for access and egress by properly badged personnel during off-peak hours and non-revenue time. Personnel entering via the stations shall not enter the roadway, unless pre-approved and shall be RWP trained personnel. B. Contractor shall submit a work plan that addresses track isolation, tunnel ventilation, WMATA SAFE and Arlington Fire Department requirements. Design-Builder’s plan shall isolate the track from the work area to prevent fouling the track. Once isolated, the Design-Builder may request additional work hours from WMATA. C. Contractor shall comply with WMATA SAFE’s requirements for ventilation and the control of existing tunnel ventilation systems. D. Design-Builder may request use a prime mover supplied by the Design-Builder or Authority, but may not be available at any time. E. Construction equipment and materials shall be staged at one or more of the following locations: 1. Within public right-of-way at street level at locations determined by the Design-Builder, and as approved by the Authority and Arlington County. a. The Design-Builder shall apply and pay all fees associated with obtaining all temporary easements, approvals, and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) permits as required and in accordance with Section 01 55 00, MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC ACCESS AND PARKING. 2. The Design-Builder is responsible for the filing of all applicable permit applications in its entirety, including drawings, maps, calculations, or other items required to fulfil the requirements of each permit, including the cost associated with each permit required for the implementation of the project. I. Parking 1. WMATA will not provide parking. 2. Design-Builder shall park at locations determined by the Design-Builder acquired through the appropriate permitting procedures.
Site Logistics. The Xxx Xxxxxxx Company will do final engineering for the site. This will include the overall site development engineering, the rail siding engineering, paving design, and location of all buildings on the site. The Xxx Xxxxxxx Company will do the final engineering for the wastewater system as an allowance. Separation of the final documents into bid packages for bidding and contract award will be the responsibility of The Xxx Xxxxxxx Company. Materials will move in and out of this site by truck and rail. Rail un-loading will occur at one spot and rail loading will occur at one spot. Truck loading will occur at one spot and truck unloading will occur at two spots with a separate unloading spot for chemicals in a remote location. Methanol will be unloaded by rail on the rail-unloading spur at a single spot, or by truck at a remote location with self-pumping capabilities. Methanol will be pumped from these areas to the methanol tank farm. Process chemicals (acids, bases) will be unloaded from trucks immediately adjacent to the chemical storage area located in tank farm #2. Animal fat and other vegetables will be stored in large diameter storage tanks prior to being fed to the process and converted to Biodiesel. Several of the tanks will require heating, which will be done by steam coils inside the tank.
Site Logistics i. Contractor is responsible for all equipment delivered to site from Developer in addition to Contractor’s own materials, including but not limited to handling, receiving, unpacking equipment, etc. To receive delivery Modules, Inverters and Racking, Contractor will have a forklift onsite for a total of 3 days on days agreed upon by the Developer. ii. Deliveries must be coordinated with the assigned Developer’s Project Manager and cannot impede normal activities, traffic, or parking or inconvenience customers or tenants in any way. iii. Contractor shall stage entire work area in accordance with the site and construction plans to properly ensure worker and passer-by safety including but not limited to temporary barriers, project and safety signage, vehicular barriers, etc. Contractor will attend a pre-construction meeting with Developer to develop and confirm site and construction plans for the Project. Such site and construction plans will be agreed to by Contractor and Developer in writing. iv. Contractor shall place tarps on equipment including but not limited to panels, racking, and other materials as directed by Developer. v. Contractor shall ensure all materials are secured and stored at the end of each day. vi. Contractor shall be responsible for any equipment including but not limited to cranes, booms, man lifts, rental equipment, and sanitation facilities necessary. vii. Contractor shall be responsible for onsite security equipment including but not limited to lock boxes, storage containers, and/or storage fencing. viii. Contractor shall be responsible for all due diligence prior to digging, if applicable, including coordinating utility xxxx outs and one calls/call before you dig. Contractor shall also be responsible for renewing all xxxx-outs for the duration of the project. Xxxx-out tickets shall be submitted to Developer for information only within 48 hours. ix. Contractor shall keep the Project site clean and secure.
Site Logistics. Subcontractor will schedule and coordinate delivery and storage of equipment and materials and the sequencing of its Work per the requirements of Article 4 and pursuant to the site logistics plan (Exhibit 5). All delivery and storage of equipment will be coordinated through Contractor’s superintendent.
Site Logistics. Design Builder, in collaboration with the Program Manager will review the proposed Site Logistics Plan, make adjustments as may be required, submit revisions (if any) to the Program Manager for approval. The approved Site Logistics Plan will identify areas of the Project site that will be used for trailers, deliveries, staging, ingress, egress, etc. The approved Site Logistics Plan, as updated, will be incorporated into the Project Manual as Tab 3 Adjustment to the proposed Site Logistics Plan will not be grounds for an adjustment in the Contract Price unless the adjustments are required by District and result in increased cost to perform the Work.
