Special Education Provisions. 10.6.6.1 Each Special Education teacher shall be assigned to a classroom/adequate work area with appropriate privacy and furniture for students, Paraprofesionals 10.6.6.2 This classroom shall include adequate ventilation and secure storage for instructional materials and records. 10.6.6.3 Whenever a Special Day Class (SDC) is placed on a District campus, which includes general education classes, preference shall be given to locating the SDC class in close proximity to age-appropriate general education classes. This provision shall not be construed in such a way as to result in increased facility costs or to require that classes be placed in rooms which jeopardize the ability to implement and support the IEP’s and programs for disabled students. 10.6.6.4 Special Education teachers shall be treated as part of the faculty and shall have the same rights and responsibilities of regular classroom teachers. 10.6.6.5 Special Education teachers shall have, on an equal basis with teachers at the site, access to all school site equipment and instructional material designated for general use by regular classroom teachers.

Special Education Provisions. The Services provided are specifically designed instruction, at no cost to the parents, to meet the unique needs of a student with a disability or related services in order for a child with a disability to benefit form specially designed instruction.
Special Education Provisions. When planning the classroom distribution of students the district and impacted teacher(s) are committed to reviewing placements and providing necessary supports to make a manageable workload. Co-taught classrooms are one class for purposes of determining class-size. Such positions would be a unique position and subject to the transfer process laid out in Article III, Section 5. Emergencies occurring during the planning or duty free time of a Special Education Teacher will not be the responsibility of the Special Education Teacher. If a Special Education teacher is asked to work with one or more students during their planning or duty free time, they will be paid per diem for the time missed to the nearest 15 minutes. All certificated staff will be offered training in the district’s special education policies and procedures. In recognition of the additional duties taken on by special education staff, they will receive a stipend for an additional five (5) days of pay at per diem rate per year.

Where compliance with the provisions of Article 17 leads to: (i) re-export towards a third country against which the exporting Party maintains, for the product concerned, quantitative export restrictions, export duties, or measures having equivalent effect, or (ii) a serious shortage, or threat thereof, of a product essential to the exporting Party, and where the situations referred to above give rise, or are likely to give rise, to major difficulties for the exporting Party, that Party may take appropriate measures under the conditions and in accordance with the procedures laid down in Article

  • Other Termination Provisions 1. We may deliver any notice instead of mailing it. Proof of mailing of any notice shall be sufficient proof of notice. 2. If this policy is cancelled, you may be entitled to a premium refund. If so, we will send you the refund. The premium refund, if any, will be computed according to our manuals. However, making or offering to make the refund is not a condition of cancellation. 3. The effective date of cancellation stated in the notice shall become the end of the policy period.
