Special Shift. A special shift may be established at any time, at the option of the Employer, on any job or project. Said shift shall not be started until the union has been notified. There shall be no premium or penalty for working a special shift.
Special Shift. With prior notification by the Employer to the Business Manager, if a special shift is required by an owner or if the Employer is required to perform work which cannot be performed during regular working hours, employees may work a special shift and receive $1.50 an hour over base rate for eight (8) hours work plus thirty (30) minutes unpaid lunch after the fourth hour. The Employers request for this special shift must include the starting date, the approximate number of employees involved and the estimated conclusion date.
