SPECIAL SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL. Personnel employed on a shift in which the hours are other than the regular day shift defined in Article 18 shall be paid a shift differential of thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour for all hours worked outside the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Provided, however, that if the majority of the hours of such special shift occur after 4:00 p.m., then the thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour shift differential shall be paid for the entire shift.

SPECIAL SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL. An employee who is regularly scheduled to work evenings or weekends will receive a special shift differential of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for each hour or major portion (thirty (30) minutes or more) thereof worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and for each hour or major portion (thirty (30) minutes or more) thereof worked on Saturday and Sunday. This differential shall not be combined with regular shift differential pursuant to Section 1 of this Article.
SPECIAL SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL. A special shift differential of $1.00 per hour will be paid for all hours worked between 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM. The special shift differential shall not be paid for any hours paid at overtime rates or any flexible time arrangements.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration.
