The Staff Room clause defines the provision of a designated space within the premises for employees to use during breaks or non-working periods. Typically, this clause outlines requirements such as the size, location, and amenities of the staff room, ensuring it is adequately equipped for comfort and rest. Its core practical function is to ensure that employees have a suitable area for rest and recuperation, which can help meet workplace health and safety standards and improve staff wellbeing.
Staff Room. When physical facilities permit, the Employer agrees to designate a staff room which will be available to staff.
