Staffing System. The Hospital and registered nurses will act in compliance with 23 ORS 441.162 and OAR 333.510.0045 (8) through (11) in its entirety. The Hospital shall 24 be responsible for the implementation of a written Hospital-wide staffing plan for nursing 25 services. The staffing plan shall be developed, monitored, evaluated and modified by 26 the Staffing Committee. The staffing plan shall: 27 3.8.1 Be based on an accurate description of individual and aggregate patient 28 needs and requirements for nursing care. 30 3.8.2 Be based on the specialized qualifications and competencies of the 31 nursing staff. The Medical Center shall maintain written documentation of these quality assurance activities. 18.4.3 The Medical Center shall maintain and post a list of on-call nursing staff or staffing agencies to provide replacement for nursing staff in the event of vacancies. The list of on-call nurses or agencies must be sufficient to provide replacement staff. 18.4.4 In the event that the provisions of ORS 441.162 are changed, the provisions of this Article 18 will be deemed modified in accordance with such changes.
