Certified Nursing Assistants. All regular full-time and part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.’s or NAC’s) after one year of service shall be reimbursed for the total cost of their license renewal (currently $53.00). The facility administrator may require documentation that the payment has been made to the Washington Department of Health, and that the license has been renewed.

Certified Nursing Assistants. The Employer will complete a study of the Direct Care Assistant job classification in time to be included in the FY 2002 budget. When conducting the study, the Employer will survey the job duties of DCA=s at each DHMH institution and will involve the AFSCME Local Union in the identification of jobs to be audited and a review to ensure that the duties of DCA=s are accurately described in the study. At the conclusion of the study, the parties shall meet to discuss the proper grade of DCA positions.
Certified Nursing Assistants. The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive collective bargaining representative with respect to rates of pay, hours of employment and other terms and conditions of employment for all full-time, regular part-time and per diem certified nursing assistants employed at the Employer's 116 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx Highway, North Smithfield, Rhode Island facility, but excluding all other employees, service and maintenance, clerical employees, the medical staff, utilization review nurses, liaison nurse, educational coordinators, managerial and confidential employees, professional and technical employees, including registered nurses, per diem therapists, social workers MSW, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, licensed practical nurses, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapy assistants, social workers, and speech/language pathologists and per diem RNs and LPN;s temporary employees as hereinafter defined, students, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act.
Certified Nursing Assistants. Seniority for purposes of layoff and recall ("classification seniority") shall be determined by the number of hours an employee has worked as a CNA. Seniority for other purposes set forth in this Agreement ("RHRI seniority") shall be determined by the number of hours an employee has worked for the Employer. The application of classification seniority to layoffs and recalls is governed by subsequent provisions in this Article. The application of RHRI seniority to holidays, vacations, leaves of absences and other applicable subjects is governed by the Articles of this Agreement that deal with those subjects. Professional/Technical - Seniority for purposes of layoff and recall ("classification seniority") shall be defined as the length of time an employee has worked continuously in one of the job classifications or subcategories thereof listed in Appendix D attached hereto. Seniority for other purposes set forth in this Agreement ("RHRI seniority") shall be defined as the length of time an employee has worked continuously for the Employer. The application of classification seniority to layoffs and recalls is governed by subsequent provisions in this Article. The application of RHRI seniority to holidays, vacations, leaves of absences and other applicable subjects is governed by the Articles of this Agreement that deal with those subjects.

  • Teaching Assistants 1. All Teaching Assistants shall receive the same remuneration per base unit and the difference between the amount paid a Graduate Teaching Assistant and other Teaching Assistants is an associated scholarship. See XIII D. for appropriate compensation.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.

  • Educational Assistants Teachers are responsible to assign instructional duties to Educational Assistants who are allocated to students in their classroom by the Principal.

  • Volunteer Peer Assistants 1. Up to eight (8)

  • EDUCATION ASSISTANTS 1. All Education Assistants employed by the Board to assist teachers in carrying out their responsibilities and duties under the School Act and Regulations shall be assigned to classes and/or students by the Principal and shall be assigned specific duties by the teacher during the designated periods of time.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Per Diem Nurses 550. If per diem nurses are required to move from one City location to another during normal working hours, they shall have access to Municipal Railway passes as necessary.

  • Psychotherapist-Patient Privilege The information disclosed by Patient, as well as any records created, is subject to the psychotherapist-patient privilege. The psychotherapist-patient privilege results from the special relationship between Therapist and Patient in the eyes of the law. It is akin to the attorney-client privilege or the doctor-patient privilege. Typi- cally, the patient is the holder of the psychotherapist-patient privilege. If Therapist received a subpoena for records, deposition testimony, or testimony in a court of law, Therapist will assert the psychotherapist-patient privilege on Patient’s behalf until instructed, in writing, to do otherwise by Patient or Patient’s representative. Patient should be aware that he/she might be waiving the psychotherapist-patient privilege if he/she makes his/her mental or emotional state an issue in a legal proceeding. Patient should address any concerns he/she might have regarding the psychotherapist-patient privilege with his/her attorney. Fee and Fee Arrangements The usual and customary fee for service is $100.00 per 50-minute session. Sessions longer than 50-minutes are charged for the additional time pro rata. Therapist reserve the right to periodically adjust this fee. Patient will be notified of any fee adjustment in advance. In addition, this fee may be adjusted by contract with in- surance companies, managed care organizations, or other third-party payers, or by agreement with Therapist. From time-to-time, Therapist may engage in telephone contact with Patient for purposes other than sched- uling sessions. Patient is responsible for payment of the agreed upon fee (on a pro rata basis) for any tele- phone calls longer than ten minutes. In addition, from time-to-time, Therapist may engage in telephone con- tact with third parties at Patient’s request and with Patient’s advance written authorization. Patient is respon- sible for payment of the agreed upon fee (on a pro rata basis) for any telephone calls longer than ten minutes. Patients are expected to pay for services at the time services are rendered. Therapist accepts cash, or major credit cards.

  • Destination CSU-Pueblo scholarship This articulation transfer agreement replaces all previous agreements between CCA and CSU-Pueblo in Bachelor of Science in Physics (Secondary Education Emphasis). This agreement will be reviewed annually and revised (if necessary) as mutually agreed.

  • Outpatient If you receive dialysis services in a hospital's outpatient unit or in a dialysis facility, we cover the use of the treatment room, related supplies, solutions, drugs, and the use of the dialysis machine. In Your Home If you receive dialysis services in your home and the services are under the supervision of a hospital or outpatient facility dialysis program, we cover the purchase or rental (whichever is less, but never to exceed our allowance for purchase) of the dialysis machine, related supplies, solutions, drugs, and necessary installation costs. Related Exclusions If you receive dialysis services in your home, this agreement does NOT cover: • installing or modifying of electric power, water and sanitary disposal or charges for these services; • moving expenses for relocating the machine; • installation expenses not necessary to operate the machine; or • training you or members of your family in the operation of the machine. This agreement does NOT cover dialysis services when received in a doctor's office.
