Strike. Concerted action in failing to report for duty, the willful absence from one's position, the stoppage of work, slow-down or abstinence in whole or in part from the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of the employment for the purposes of inducing, influencing or coercing a change in the conditions or compensation or the rights, privileges or obligations of employment, or other action as defined by law.
Strike. The Association shall not declare or authorize a strike, work stoppage, or similar industrial action by its members while this Agreement is in force, provided there is no lockout or similar industrial action by the University.
Strike. Includes a cessation of work, or refusal to work or continue to work by Nurses in combination or in concert or in accordance with a common understanding, for the purpose of compelling their Employer to agree to terms or conditions of employment or to aid other Employees in compelling their Employer to agree to terms or conditions of employment.
Strike. The concerted failure to report for duty, the concerted absence of employees from their positions, the concerted stoppage of work, the concerted submission of resignations, the concerted abstinence in whole or in part by any group of employees from the full and faithful performance of the duties of employment with a public employer, for the purpose of inducing, influencing, condoning or coercing a change in the terms and conditions of employment or the rights, privileges, or obligations of public employment or participating in a deliberate and concerted course of conduct which adversely affects the services of the public employer and the concerted failure to report for work after the expiration of a collective bargaining agreement.
Strike. The Union will not initiate or engage in, and no employee(s) will participate or engage in any strike, slowdown, picketing, boycott, sick-out or other interruption of work during the term of this Agreement.
Strike. The PBA hereby agrees, on behalf of its members and all employees in the unit it is certified to represent, that they will not strike, as defined by the Public Employees Relations Act, and agrees not to participate in a strike against the Board by instigating or supporting a strike, nor shall the bargaining unit member participate in a work stoppage, slow-down, sick out, or job action in furtherance, of any of the above-prohibited activities. The parties agree that any bargaining unit member who participates in or promotes any of the aforesaid activities may be discharged or otherwise disciplined by the Board.
Strike. The Association will not promote, sponsor, or engage in any strike or any slowdown, interruption of work or operation, concentrated stoppage of work, absence from work upon any pretext or excuse such as illness, which is not founded in fact, against the Department, or any other intentional interruption of the operations of the Department, regardless of the reason or reasons for so doing. It is also understood that the Association and the Department will adhere to the provisions of N.R.S. 288.240, 288.250, 288.260, and 288.270.

Strike. In case of a teacher’s strike, all administrators will work on a per diem basis for each day worked beyond their regular contract.
Strike. 18.01 The parties agree that during the term of this agreement there shall be no lock-out or strike (either complete or partial), slow-down, or other such concerted activity by the Union or its members.
18.02 If an employee believes that, as a matter of conscience, they cannot cross a picket line, this act of conscience will be respected and no penalty will be imposed other than non- payment for the period during which services were not rendered. Employees who take that position will be expected to so advise their supervisor, department head or chair, as the case may be, and arrangements will be made to deduct the appropriate amounts from their salaries.
18.03 Essential services must be maintained, in accordance with Appendix 6.
