Summer Compensation. A faculty member who teaches during the summer session shall be compensated for each three (3) credits or equivalent contact hours of summer session teaching at the rate of $3150.

Summer Compensation. (a) 2020- and 2020-2021 Wages for summer classes 2020 (May, 2020 through August, 2020) and 2021 (May, 2021 through August, 2021) shall be computed at the rate of three percent (3.0%) of the faculty member’s academic year salary per credit hour, may not exceed thirty percent (30%) of the year’s salary during summer employment. Credit hours shall be adjusted for laboratory and /or graduate courses, in a manner consistent with course load practice during the regular term. If a class is canceled by the University or a faculty member is replaced, the faculty member shall receive payment for each class actually attended in relation to the number of class sessions scheduled. Wages for non-teaching assignments may exceed the thirty percent (30%) maximum in accordance with Article VII Section 7 below.
