Technique. Provide factual presentation. In each photograph include an object of known size to determine size of object being photographed. Provide correct exposure and focus, high resolution and sharpness, maximum depth of field and minimum distortion. Any photograph which is not clear and distinct, double exposed, over exposed, etc. shall be retaken.
Technique. Different forms of in-depth interviews can be used (Xxxxxxxxxx, 2007). If the interviews are categorized based on their formalization, three types can be distinguished, namely open interviews, structured interviews and semi-structured interviews. The qualitative research will be carried out on the basis of semi-structured interviews. This type of interview is the obvious choice, as the most crucial information will be obtained when the entrepreneurs are given the chance to speak spontaneously during the interviews (Xxxxxxxxxx, 2007). On the other hand, it is of great importance certain topics are covered, hence the need for some structure in the interviews. A questionnaire will be drawn up on the basis of the literature review study. This questionnaire can either be a topic list or a question protocol. A topic list consists of a list of topics to be covered during the interviews. Contrary to question protocols, it does not include exact questions the interviewee should be asked. The interviews for this master’s dissertation will encompass some predefined questions, as this will facilitate the analysis afterwards (Xxxxxxxxxx, 2007).
Technique. Due to the fact that I was involved in a case where the first experiment with the CBA was done in the Netherlands, I decided to use this case study. I doubted to use the ethnographic case study as the right tool, since I am involved in the case as well. But this ethnographic case study focuses more on cultures and relations in the group, instead of the research questions I want to find an answer for. Despite I am using a case study, I am aware of my subjective role in the research. While in regular research the researcher describes a case from a distance, I was involved in this. Therefore there is something to say about the validity of my results, because I am not able to be complete objective. I tried to be as objective as possible, but my internship activities made me involve in the case. The way of gathering data in this case study is by taking full field notes of the public hearing, by taking full field notes of the face-to-face interviews and the interviews by phone with the stakeholders in the area. These interviews are later analyzed and distilled into schematic overviews and will be used. These interviews will be used to analyze the process, not to ask the stakeholders of their findings of the process. I did not choose to use a statistical test to analyze the results, because I am more interested in the process. These interviews, with the stakeholders (farmers, houseboat tenants, citizens and community organizations) serve the goal of finding out more of the process. It is not a satisfaction survey, in which I want to test the beliefs of the stakeholders, but I want to focus on the process. The main benefit of using this technique is its value. It gives the researcher an unique perspective for new appearances such as the CBA. The practical information gained by this method will give the researcher a great advantage in the research. Besides, it fits very well in explorative research. There are some drawbacks for this technique though. It is very subjective and sensitive for the views of the researcher. Especially, when the researcher will get involved too much in the case it will lose its scientific character. A second main drawback of this method is the It is unclear if it is possible to generalize the results. The researcher is making choices, which may be different from other researchers. Therefore it is hard to generalize results. To test my H2 I decided to use semi-structured interviews as the research method. The benefits of interviews to test...
Technique. Austria Solar heating systems for DHW are a must for residential buildings in the social housing sector in Styria. Granting of a housing subsidy requires for single-family houses a minimum of 5 m2 /house and for multi-story buildings 2 m2/flat. Solar heating for DHW has become an interesting aspect for building owners in Austria. To reduce distribution losses in multi-story building a 2-pipe system (single distribution system for space heating and DHW) with local heat exchangers in the flats has proved to be best. Spain Spanish normative requires a minimum solar energy contribution to DHW depending on different parameters of the building: DHW demand, type of building, climatic zone, elements of the systems, etc. There are some requirements about maximum losses by tilt, orientation and shadows (see table). Hungary There is no normative requirement for the installation of solar collectors. The use of renewable energy is encouraged by the low (zero) primary energy factors in the calculation of the integrated energy performance. Solar heating systems are still very seldom, but solar DHW systems are becoming more and more widespread. Greece There is no normative requirement for the installation of solar collectors. The installation of solar systems for dhw relies on the will of the client. Solar systems for dhw are often met in the Greek market. From statistical data oil-burn boilers provide domestic hot water for approximately 26% dwellings. Electricity is used for the provision of domestic hot water in 78% dwellings and solar energy in 15.1 %. (WP1, D1, State of the Art report) Denmark Solar DHW heating is not normal in retrofit housing. When it is used around 2 m² solar collector pr apartment is common.
Technique. Austria There are no requirements for PV energy production in the building sector. The Austrian Ökostromgesetz rules feed in of PV generated electricity into the grid by definition of contingents, capacity and remuneration. Because of the costs and a lower level of subsidy PV-systems are still very rare in Austria (about 0,3 per mille of the total Austrian electricity production). Spain National normative includes a minimum PV energy production for some building typologies (mainly commercial and industrial buildings). These requirements depend on type of building, climatic zone and gross area of the building. Hungary There is no normative requirement on the installation of PV-systems. PV-systems are still very rare, most installations serve demonstration and research purposes. Greece There is no requirement for the installation of PV-systems. PV-systems are still very rare, and their high investment cost does not encourage their implementation in the residential sector Denmark PV systems are only seldom used in retrofit housing. In some cases socalled PV- VENT solutions are used to match yearly electricity use for ventilation on a yearly basis. Typical yearly yield for a good orientation PV systems f.ex in roofs to mhe south: 800 kWh/kWp 80% system efficiency.
Technique. Space will be made by enamel reproximation (smoothing between the teeth to allow the teeth to move into place). This allows limited tooth movement in the area of the crowding. Rarely, sensitivity is possible from this, but is transient/short-term. Alternative treatment options to make space include tooth extraction, which we only perform in extreme cases of crowding. Upper and lower dental midlines will not be made to line up for most cases, as midline changes often require years of treatment. On occasion, bonding may be needed to provide an even appearance of the edges of front teeth whether because of stubborn tooth movement or misshapen teeth.
Technique. I acknowledge if bidding an equivalent product that the product technique is Lateral Flow, Visual Read, Over the Counter (OTC) Home Testing, Screening, Single Target Yes (Yes)
