INTRODUCTION‌ Purpose‌ The purpose of the collective agreement is to establish respectful and mutually beneficial relationships with the Employer, the Union, and the employees and set forth certain terms and conditions of employment which have been reached through collective bargaining. Further, the purpose of this agreement is to facilitate the peaceful adjustment of all disputes and grievances in accordance with Article 7 (Grievance Procedure), to prevent strikes, lockouts, slowdowns or other interference with work, unnecessary expense and avoidable delays in carrying out the most efficient and effective operations of the Employer's business. The parties recognize that guest satisfaction with the Employer and its employees is of paramount importance to the success of the business, and as such, the parties share a commitment to maintain and continue to enhance and improve the exceptional quality of services provided by Hard Rock Casino to its guests.

  • Work or Works means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Development Work means any work carried out in relation to the physical construction of a mine;

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth);

  • tidal work means so much of any work authorised by this Order as is on, under or over tidal waters or tidal lands below the level of high water;

  • Completion of work means completion of the entire contracted work. Exhaustion of quantity of any particular item mentioned in the bid document shall not imply completion of work or any component thereof.

  • Urgent Work means any urgent measures which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge become necessary during the progress of the work to obviate any risk of accident or failure or disruption of generation which become necessary for security.

  • Cost of work , in table above, shall mean the agreement amount of the work.
