Technology Training Hours. This stipend recognizes that technology is continually changing and that training needs are constant and required on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis. These training needs are individualized depending on employees’ assignment, changes in curriculum and changes in instructional tools. The stipend is contingent on continuing passage of the District’s technology levy. Employees shall be entitled to receive up to 7.5 hours of compensation at per diem for training activities related to implementation and integration of the District’s technology systems and programs. By signing below, an employee attests to completing 7.5 hours of self-paced and individualized training and/or District provided training which will assist in the performance of one’s duties. These hours shall be documented on a timesheet submitted on or before June 30 each year describing the training activities and date or dates worked. The two following questions must be answered and this form must be signed by the Employee and Principal and attached to the timesheet.

Technology Training Hours. All classified employees will be provided access to the hardware and software determined by the District to be necessary for the effective performance of an employee’s duties and twenty-six (26) hours (prorated for employees hired after the first workday of the school year) specifically related to technology training relevant for classified educators. This includes, but is not limited to, the technology day in the MISD August training, as capacity allows. The use of these hours will be mutually agreed to by the employee and the employee’s supervisor. The District will provide and/or promote training opportunities specific to the employees’ responsibilities and professional interests that fall under the technology category. For those classified employees whose additional training hours may be taken during the regular workday, workday hours that were supplanted for training purposes may be utilized on an overtime basis. The District will identify eight (8) of the twenty-six (26) hours of technology training to be paid at double (2 times) the employee’s regular hourly rate and count as sixteen (16) of the twenty-six

Consistent with RCW 28A.320.330, tech training options for custodians, bus drivers and other relevant classified staff will include training related to: (a) the installation and integration of modernized technology systems, products and services for operations and instruction; and (b) training related to the installation and/or use of the hardware, software, and online applications which are an integral part of the District's technology systems, facilities, or projects. This may include: • Hands on learning and vendor-provided training on technologically-upgraded new equipment (e.g., 360 machines, specialized equipment, etc.); and • Fire system and security system training (e.g., how to swap out faulty equipment, etc.).

Related to Technology Training Hours

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • Field Training Officers The position of Field Training Officer (FTO) shall be held by a Trooper or Sergeant who most closely meets the requirements set forth by the Employer which are outlined in policy OSP-501.08. If the Employer determines there are an insufficient number of qualified volunteers, it may appoint other individuals to be FTOs. The District Commander shall make the final selections. A supplement of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) shall be given to all FTOs for the sixty (60) working day training period. This amount will be prorated in instances where the training period is cut short or lengthened. Field Training Officers and their trainees will be required to work twenty (20) days on each of the three shifts during the training period.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Flexible Work Hours Upon request of an authorized employee, the State may establish flexible work hours for a Xxxx 00 employee upon agreement between the employee and the employer. Any flexible work hour schedule shall not exceed thirty (30) days.

  • Field Training Officer When a Public Safety Officer has been designated as a Field Training Officer for a new employee he/she will receive a five percent (5%) increase for all the hours they provide direct training/instruction.

  • Training and Technical Assistance COALITION will notify PROVIDER of the availability of training, technical assistance, and other targeted assistance in support of the provision of quality VPK services. COALITION will offer technical assistance for providers on probation. The technical assistance will be designed to facilitate the development and implementation of an improvement plan. The technical assistance will be offered in a manner and schedule prescribed by the COALITION or school district.
