Telephone work. When an "on call" employee uses his telephone to provide services required as a result of being "on call", he shall be paid for two hours (2) at the overtime rate. Such compensation shall not be claimed more than once during each eight-hour "on call" period, nor shall it be claimed when there is a claim under 16.08 for the same service.
Telephone work. A Nurse who receives a telephone call, but is not called out as per Article 13.04 (b) i) above, shall be paid a minimum of not less than thirty (30) minutes pay or may choose to take lieu time. If such call lasts longer than thirty (30) minutes, additional pay in thirty (30) minute increments shall be paid or may be taken as lieu time. Bargaining unit Nurses provided with cell phones by the Employer are required to have the phones charged and on during work hours.
Telephone work. On their off time, an employee occasionally may be required to receive calls from their supervisor relating to clients. Except for routine schedule changes, an employee will be paid at their hourly rate of pay in fifteen (15) minute increments, unless the employee is in an overtime situation, then the rate will be time and one-half (1-1/2) times the hourly rate of pay.

(b) All telephone work and wiring in partitions, floors and ceilings to be paid for by Tenant as arranged for by Tenant with any qualified installer selected by Tenant but approved by Landlord. Landlord will coordinate work with other trades as required. Completion or non-completion of the telephone work will not delay Tenant's acceptance of the Demised Premises or the payment of Rent. All electrical load centers, special wiring and plywood supplied by Landlord for telephone equipment shall be an extra cost to be paid by Tenant. Telephone company work is to meet all prevailing codes.

An employee shall not be compensated more than once for the same time period. Employees shall retain a log of calls received and time spent. Telephone calls must be for a minimum duration of fifteen (15) minutes to qualify under this Article. Telephone calls, which result in a callback, are exempt from this Article.

  • Telephone Access Employees shall be entitled to reasonable use of the client's telephone for local calls during the evening to speak with family members (i.e., spouse, children, dependants, parents). Employees may not receive personal calls on the client's telephone nor give out the client's telephone number. In the case of urgent personal calls to the employee, messages will be taken by the Employer and passed on to the employee as soon as possible. In the event of an emergency, the employee shall use the client's telephone to contact the appropriate authorities or the contact person designated by the Employer.
