Term of Research Program. The period of performance of the Research Program set forth in Schedule II(a) will be three (3) years, commencing on September 1, 1999, and ending on August 31, 2002. The period of performance of the Research Program set forth in Schedule II(b) will be one (1) year, commencing on September 1, 1999, and ending on August 31, 2000. The term of the Research Program may be extended upon mutual written consent.
Term of Research Program. Subject to the provisions for termination hereinafter provided, the term of the research program to be conducted pursuant to this Agreement (the "Program") shall be for a period (the "Program Term") commencing November 19, 2001 and terminating at the close of business on November 19, 2006.
Term of Research Program. The Research Program shall extend until the termination of the latest of all of the following, including, if applicable, the last meeting of the JSC necessary to determine whether Hits in the Screening Phase Tail should be advanced to Development.
Term of Research Program. Subject to the provisions of Section 15.2 below, the term of the Research Program shall continue for a period of [*] ([*]) [*] after the Commencement Date; provided, however, the term of the Research Program may be extended for an additional period of [*] ([*]) [*], by the mutual written agreement of the parties not less than [*] ([*]) [*] prior to the [*] anniversary of the Commencement Date.
Term of Research Program. The Research Program shall commence on the Effective Date and unless earlier terminated as described in Article 14, continue for an initial period of four (4) years (i.e. forty-eight (48) months from the Effective Date). Biogen Idec will have the option to extend the Research Term for up to two additional one (1) year periods at the level of research funding by Biogen Idec and FTE support by Sunesis specified in Section 7.1, by providing Sunesis with written notice and full payment of the technology access fee set forth in Section 7.2.1(b) at least three (3) months before the end of the initial four (4) year Research Term or the then-current extension period, as applicable.
Term of Research Program. The Research Program shall commence upon the Effective Date, and unless earlier terminated as provided herein, shall expire on the third anniversary of the Effective Date, subject to any extension thereto.
Term of Research Program. The term of the Research Program (“Research Term”) shall commence on the Effective Date, and shall continue until the third anniversary of the Effective Date, unless earlier terminated as provided herein; provided, however, that CURAGEN may elect, at its sole discretion, to extend the Research Term for one or more additional 12-month periods by committing to fund any such continued Research Program at a level of at least US$2,000,000 per year, such amount, to the extent greater than $2,000,000, to be negotiated in good faith, giving due consideration to prior research costs and expenses under the Research Program and mutually agreed to by the Parties on or before the expiration of the prior period. Notice of any such election shall be made, if at all, at least 90 days prior to the relevant anniversary of the Effective Date. In the event that the election is made but the parties cannot agree upon appropriate consideration by the expiration of the prior period, then the Research Program shall terminate as of such date.
Term of Research Program. The term of the Research Program shall commence on the date of this Agreement, and, subject to Sections 4.11 and 14.2, shall continue, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, for a period of two years after the date of this Agreement. In addition, BMS shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to extend the term of the Research Program for one additional one-year period by sending written notice to such effect to ICAgen at least three months prior to the end of the initial term. In such event, BMS shall be required to continue to provide the level of funding to ICAgen as provided in Section 4.4, and ICAgen shall be required to continue to dedicate efforts to, and proceed diligently with, the Research Program as provided in Section 4.5(b), all subject to the Annual Research Plan approved by the Steering Committee.
Term of Research Program. The term of the Research Program shall commence on the Effective Date and shall end upon the date four (4) years after the Effective Date (the “Initial Research Term”), provided that if Juno exercises the Extension Option as set forth below, then the term of the Research Program shall be extended for an additional two (2) years (the “Extended Research Term”) (the Initial Research Term together with the Extended Research Term, if applicable, the “Research Term”). If, during the Initial Research Term, Juno has selected at least [***] Selected Targets, then upon providing written notice to Fate at least [***] prior, but no more than [***] prior, to the expiration of the Initial Research Term and making the payments both as described in Section 5.2, the term of the Research Program shall be extended by the Extended Research Term (the “Extension Option”).
Term of Research Program. (a) The term of the Research Program shall commence on the Effective Date, and shall continue, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, until the fifth anniversary of the Effective Date. SB shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to extend the term of the Research Program for such number of whole calendar years as shall not exceed five (5) years and as shall not be less than two (2) years. SB may so extend the term of the Research Program by sending written notice to CADUS specifying the number of years by which the term is being extended, prior to the fourth anniversary of the Effective Date.
