The employee retires. The Employee is on layoff for one (1) year or the length of his/her seniority whichever is greater but not to exceed two (2) years.
The employee retires. The Employee is laid off for a period of time equal to the length of the employee's seniority within the bargaining unit.
The employee retires. If the Employee returns to the employ of the Employer after losing seniority pursuant to this Article, the Employee’s seniority will not be restored.
The employee retires. The Employee fails to return to work on the date indicated on the recall notification letter or after an extension as approved by the Superintendent.
The employee retires. The Employee does not return to work when recalled from layoff. In special cases, exceptions shall be made by the Employer.

The employee retires. An updated seniority list shall be made available to each employee covered by this Agreement on or about November 1st of each year. Such list shall contain each . employees date of employment, location and classification. Seniority in the classification shall be as of the date of entry into the classification.
The employee retires. Seniority shall continue to accumulate within the bargaining unit for an employee who transfers to a supervisory position, with that employee having the right to exercise their seniority and return to the bargaining unit in the event that the employee vacates their supervisory position.
The employee retires. THE EMPLOYEE IS ON A CONTINUOUS LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR A PERIOD OF TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR A PERIOD EQUAL TO THE SENIORITY ACCUMULATED AT THE TIME OF THE CONTINUOUS LEAVE OF ABSENCE, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
