Tradesperson Allowance. 43.4.1 An Employee engaged as a Tradesperson (as defined in the classifications of this Agreement, who possesses as a minimum qualification a trade certificate will receive an allowance. This allowance will be classified as all-purpose and is inclusive of a tool allowance. The tradesperson allowance shall be paid at the rates provided in the table of allowances.

Tradesperson Allowance a) An Employee engaged as a Tradesperson as prescribed at Appendices A and B of this Agreement will receive an allowance as set out in Appendix C per hour worked; this allowance will be classified as all-purpose. This allowance is inclusive of a tool allowance. This allowance is fixed for the duration of this Agreement.
Tradesperson Allowance. All tradespersons will complete tasks within, and outside of, their classified trades stream provided it is within their skill level. In recognition of compliance certification, and the extra work, responsibility and accountability imposed upon tradespeople outside of their classified trade’s stream, the following will apply:
Tradesperson Allowance. Tradespersons who are directed by the Employer to perform additional duties to ensure the accurate alignment of ventilation and hydraulic plant and equipment for correct operation to the quality standards prescribed, shall be paid an all-purpose allowance of $29.30 per week.
Tradesperson Allowance. An employee engaged in the classification of a tradesperson, who maintains a trade qualification and is required to use those trade skills / qualifications, will be paid an allowance of $1.50 per hour (flat) for each hour worked in addition to the ordinary hourly rate for their classification.
Tradesperson Allowance. An Employee engaged as a Tradesperson CW5 as prescribed at clause 11.1.1 of this Agreement will receive an hourly allowance, as prescribed below. This allowance will be $3.30 (per hour) for the life of the Agreement: Employees may be required by the Employer to provide evidence of their qualifications related to their occupation to substantiate this allowance.

This allowance is inclusive of a tool allowance. This allowance is fixed for the duration of this Agreement. An Employee engaged as a Mechanical or Electrical Tradesperson as prescribed at Appendix A of this Agreement will receive an allowance of $3.00 per hour ($1.50 of this allowance will be classified as all- purpose). This allowance is inclusive of a tool allowance. This allowance is fixed for the duration of this Agreement.

  • Education Allowance Provisions in existing Collective Agreements providing for educational allowances shall be continued in effect.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement of up to a maximum of eighty five ($85.00) dollars per year, for purchasing or repairing, safety shoes for full-time employees who have completed their probationary period and are required by the Employer to wear safety shoes. The style and colour of the shoes must be approved by the Employer. Employees in the following classifications and/or departments are eligible to avail themselves of the shoe allowance: Banquet Culinary Guest Services Housemen/Housepersons Fairmont Lounge Housekeeping In Room Dining Laundry Stewarding Velvet Glove Front Desk Employees will receive said amount so long as the shoes are worn on the job. Upon providing the Employer in ample time- at least twenty four (24) hours before the date of the pay period ending, of proof of either purchase or repair, payment will be made on the pay period following.

  • FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE (a) In lieu of the basic daily excess fares and travel pattern allowance prescribed by Xxxxxx

  • - Separation Allowances (a) Where an employee resigns within 30 days after receiving notice of layoff pursuant to article 9.08(a)(ii) that his or her position will be eliminated, he or she shall be entitled to a separation allowance of two (2) weeks' salary for each year of continuous service to a maximum of twelve (12) weeks' pay, and, on production of receipts from an approved educational program, within twelve (12) months of resignation, may be reimbursed for tuition fees up to a maximum of three thousand ($3,000) dollars.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Relocation Allowance An employee who is promoted and required by agency policy to relocate his residence shall be granted time off with pay for one workday for this purpose. In addition, the employee shall be granted travel time to the new location based on the most direct route. No employee will be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee’s regular workday and such time shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing compensatory time or overtime.
