TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL. The Contractor shall manage traffic according to the latest edition of the Ontario Traffic Manual – Book 7, and the City of Mississauga Subdivision Requirements Manual Specifications Section 01005. The Contractor is to provide the City and Contractor Administrator with a detailed Traffic Control Plan for approval prior to the commencement of work on site. The Traffic Control Plan must include proposed hauling routes, road and sidewalk closure details, identification of hazards, and measures to protect both public safety and the safety of workers on site. At a minimum, the traffic control requirements outlined in this Contract are to be implemented as a portion of the Traffic Control Plan. No hauling of materials in/out of the site is to occur and no heavy vehicles are permitted to move into/out of the site Monday to Friday between 8:15 am to 9:15 am and 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm due to neighbouring school drop off and pickup times. This hauling restriction does not apply during school summer break (June 27, 2020 to September 4, 2020, inclusive). No hauling is permitted from September 8, 2020 to September 11, 2020 (inclusive). The Contractor shall perform all works in such a way so as to minimize impacts to local traffic. All local, delivery and emergency access must be maintained at all times. Stopping is prohibited at any time along Nahani Way which includes the idling of all construction vehicles along Nahani Way. Movement of vehicles exiting and entering the work zone shall be coordinated with flagmen during peak traffic times, and shall account for construction site configurations, and driver’s visibility. At all times the Contractor will be alert to pedestrians who may wander into the work zone and shall take reasonable steps to prevent the possibility of injury. Traffic signs, barriers, signal arrows and flagmen shall be installed and maintained by the Contractor for the entire duration of work to ensure public and personnel safety and to secure the work zone to the satisfaction of the Contract Administrator. Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) must be provided as required so that motorists and pedestrians are properly directed to ensure safety. During any lane closures, at least two (2) TCPs shall be in place during peak traffic times (7:00am-9:00am & 3:00pm-5:00pm). TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL. The Contractor must ensure that all works on or affecting the highway are supervised by a person certified as being competent in the signing, guarding and lighting of such works. At least one person holding such a certificate is to be present on site at all times during the progress of the works. The certificate of competence referred to above shall be issued by a Training Centre or other appropriate organisation approved by the Highway Authority's Engineer. Prior to the commencement of the works, the Contractor shall submit to the Highway Authority's Representative details of certificated operatives, stating the Training Centre or other organisation responsible for the issue of the certificate, the certificate number and the issue date of the certificate.

  • Traffic Management The Customer will not utilize the Services in a manner which, in the view of the Centre Operator, significantly distorts traffic balance on the Centre Operator’s circuits which are shared with other users. If, in the reasonable view of the Centre Operator, the Customer’s traffic patterns cause or may cause such distortion, the Customer should have a dedicated circuit capability. If the Customer declines to do so then the Centre Operator may suspend the Services while the matter is being resolved. If there is no resolution within 5 business days then either party may terminate the Agreement.

  • Project Management Services Contractor shall provide business analysis and project management services necessary to ensure technical projects successfully meet the objectives for which they were undertaken. Following are characteristics of this Service:

  • Account Management 15.1 The Contractor is required to provide a dedicated Strategic Account Manager who will be the main point of contact for the Authority. The Strategic Account Manager will:  Attend quarterly, or as otherwise agreed, review meetings with the Authority, in person at the Authority’s premises or other locations as determined by the Authority  Attend regular catch-up meetings with the Authority, in person or by telephone/videoconference  Resolve any on-going operational issues which have not been resolved by the Contractor or Account Manager(s) and therefore require escalation  Ensure that the costs involved in delivering the Framework are as low as possible, whilst always meeting the required standards of service and quality.

  • Utilization Management Contractor shall maintain a utilization management program that complies with applicable laws, rules and regulations, including Health and Safety Code § 1367.01 and other requirements established by the applicable State Regulators responsible for oversight of Contractor.

  • Project Management and Coordination The Engineer shall coordinate all subconsultant activity to include quality of and consistency of work and administration of the invoices and monthly progress reports. The Engineer shall coordinate with necessary local entities.

  • Construction Management Plan Contractor shall prepare and furnish to the Owner a thorough and complete plan for the management of the Project from issuance of the Proceed Order through the issuance of the Design Professional's Certificate of Material Completion. Such plan shall include, without limitation, an estimate of the manpower requirements for each trade and the anticipated availability of such manpower, a schedule prepared using the critical path method that will amplify and support the schedule required in Article 2.1.5 below, and the Submittal Schedule as required in Article 2.2.3. The Contractor shall include in his plan the names and resumés of the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and the person in charge of Safety.
