Transition Between Classifications. Employees transitioning into a new classification shall have the opportunity to return to their previous classification during their six (6) month probationary period without prejudice or breach in service.

An Employee performing work in a position for the purpose of relief shall be compensated at no less than their current wage rate, or if performing in a position of greater compensation, they shall be compensated at the wage of the higher paid position at the equivalent step of their current position.
