The City agrees to allocate $5,000.00 to a Tuition and Training Reimbursement Fund for each fiscal year of this Agreement for the exclusive use of classifications covered by this Agreement. The provisions of the Reimbursement Fund are attached as Appendix to this agreement.

The City agrees to allocate twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) annually to a tuition and reimbursement fund for the exclusive use of classifications covered by this agreement. Each employee shall have a maximum of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) available for reimbursement. At the end of each fiscal year, any funds not expended shall not carry over into the next year.

Reimbursement shall be subject to the following conditions: Employees must be regularly scheduled, permanent full or part time employees with a minimum of one-year continuous permanent service in a class represented by this Agreement. 348. The SFMTA will reimburse each eligible employee up to $500 annually for tuition, including books relevant to the course of study, if attendance in the course has been approved in advance. The SFMTA will attempt to make such payment promptly upon the employee’s submission of proof of satisfactory completion of the course with a passing grade. If the course is not graded, or is not a credited course, an official transcript or other official document shall be deemed evidence of satisfactory completion.

The City to allocate eight thousand dollars ($8,000) to a Tuition and Training Reimbursement Fund for each fiscal year of this Agreement for the exclusive use of classifications covered by this Agreement. Employees in said classifications may not receive more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) each per fiscal year from this special allocation. The provisions of the Reimbursement Fund are attached as Appendix to this agreement. 291. If any portion of the allocated funds under either section remain unexpended at the end of each fiscal year of this Agreement, it shall be carried over to the following fiscal year not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) and available to be expended.

  • Tuition Reimbursement A. Agencies may approve full or partial tuition reimbursement, consistent with agency policy and within available resources.

  • DEPENDENT CARE REIMBURSEMENT ACCOUNT During the term of this MOU, Management agrees to maintain a Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA), qualified under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, for active employees who are members of LACERS, provided that sufficient enrollment is maintained to continue to make the account available. Enrollment in the DCRA is at the discretion of each employee. All contributions into the DCRA and related administrative fees shall be paid by employees who are enrolled in the plan. As a qualified Section 129 Plan, the DCRA shall be administered according to the rules and regulations specified for such plans by the Internal Revenue Service.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • Travel Reimbursement 2.1 The County will only cover costs associated with travel on vendors outside a 50 mile radius from Xxxxxxxxxx County, Texas.
