Union Dues Deduction and Remittance. The Employer agrees to collect a one-time initiation fee of two dollars ($2.00) from the first paycheque of each new Employee upon hire, to be forwarded to the Union with that month’s dues. The Employer will deduct dues, initiation fees, and assessments as set by the Union from each pay of all Employees covered by this Collective Agreement. Such deductions will be forwarded to the National Secretary- Treasurer of the Canadian Union of Public Employees no later than the tenth (10th) day of the month following the one in which they were deducted.
