Union Shop Card Sample Clauses

Union Shop Card. The Union agrees to furnish the Employer with at least one union shop card for each of the Employer's places of operations covered by this agreement, to be displayed on the premises. Such card will remain the property of the Union and shall be surrendered upon demand.

Union Shop Card. ‌ The Employer agrees to permit the display of a Union Shop Card signifying that the Office is staffed by members of the Office and Professional Employees International Union, Local No. 30, AFL-CIO, and under agreement with the Union. This card is to be the property of the Union.

Union Shop Card. The Union Shop Card shall be displayed prominently on all vehicles, all customer entrances or areas where customers wait. Said Union Shop Cards, property of the Union, shall be furnished free to the Employers and he shall be allowed to display same as long as the Employer has signed and com­ plies with the Shop Card Contract of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Union Shop Card. It will be the duty of the Employer to prominently display a Union shop card. Those cards shall remain the property of the Union and the Employer shall have their usage only until such time as the Union shall request their return. The Employer agrees to surrender the same immediately upon demand by the Union.

  • Union Shop All employees who are covered by the Union's Certificate of Bargaining Authority shall maintain membership in the Union as a condition of employment. Employees who are brought within the jurisdiction of the Union's Certificate of Bargaining Authority, including newly hired employees, shall become members of the Union by the first day of the third bi-weekly pay period after their initial date of employment in the bargaining unit. Upon receipt by the Employer of written advice from the Union, employees who fail to maintain membership in the Union or the check-off of Union Dues, or an amount equal to Union Dues, shall be terminated by the Employer from their employment. Where the Employer has knowledge of an employee failing to maintain Union membership, or the check-off of Union Dues, the Employer shall so advise the Union and, in turn, the Union shall advise the employee in writing. When the Employer is advised by the Union of non-compliance of either of the above, the Employer shall terminate the services of the employee within thirty (30) days of written advice as noted above. In the event an employee is terminated pursuant to this section, the following contract provisions shall not be applicable to the employee:

  • Safety Shoes 3901 Employees who are required to wear steel-toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase and/or replacement of these shoes in the first quarter of each year. Any employee out on an authorized leave shall receive payment within thirty days of their return to paid duty. New employees who are required to wear steel- toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase of shoes in their first paycheck; for employees hired on or after December 1, he/she shall not receive an additional $200 in the first quarter.

  • Dark Fiber Transport Dark Fiber Transport is defined as Dedicated Transport that consists of unactivated optical interoffice transmission facilities without attached signal regeneration, multiplexing, aggregation or other electronics. Except as set forth in Section 6.9.1 below, BellSouth shall not be required to provide access to Dark Fiber Transport Entrance Facilities pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Local Switching 4.1.1 BellSouth shall provide non-discriminatory access to local circuit switching capability, and local tandem switching capability, on an unbundled basis, except as set forth below in Section 4.1.
