University Compensation Increases for Faculty. The Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees has approved funds for performance based increases, to be distributed as follows: 1. Promotion Increases. Promotion increases shall be granted to employees promoted in 2012-13 effective upon the start of their 2013-14 academic year appointment. These increases shall be granted as follows: (a) in recognition of promotion to Associate Professor, Associate in , Associate Scholar/Scientist, Associate Engineer, Associate Research Professor, and Associate University Librarian, an increase equal to 9.0% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary; or (b) in recognition of promotion to Professor, Scholar/Scientist, Engineer, Research Professor and University Librarian, an increase equal to 12% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary. (c) in recognition of promotion to Senior Instructor/Senior Lecturer in accordance with the Xxxxxxx’x Memorandum on Appointment and Promotion of Instructors and Lecturers, an increase of 9.0% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary, but the new salary may not exceed 9.0% more than the employee’s September 2009 salary, if in the same position; or (d) in recognition of promotion to University Instructor/University Lecturer in accordance with the Xxxxxxx’x Memorandum on Appointment and Promotion of Instructors and Lecturers, an increase of 12.0% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary, but the new salary may not exceed 12.0% more than the employee’s September 2008 salary, if in the same position.

Promotion increases shall be granted to employees pursuant to the status quo currently in Article 14 of the 2006-2009 FAU BOT/UFF Collective Bargaining Agreement, effective August 10, 2009 for those promoted in 2009, and August 11, 2010 for those promoted in 2010. These increases shall be granted in an amount equal to 9.0% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary in recognition of promotion to Associate Professor, Associate in , Associate Scholar/Scientist, Associate Engineer, Associate Research Professor, and Associate University Librarian; and 12% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary in recognition of promotion to Professor, Scholar/Scientist, Engineer, Research Professor and University Librarian. (b) Performance Based Merit Increases. (1) All permanent bargaining unit employees under appointment as of May 1, 2010 and who have continued employment through August 11, 2010, who have at least Above Satisfactory overall annual evaluation for the 2009-2010 academic year or the 2009 calendar year will be eligible. Permanent faculty includes instructors, lecturers, multi-year appointees, tenured or tenure-earning faculty, and faculty and librarians enrolled in DROP. Employees on contracts or grants shall receive salary increases equivalent to similar employees on regular funding, provided that such salary increases are permitted by the terms of the contract or grant and adequate funds are available for this purpose in the contract or grant. (2) The University shall provide merit increases to each college/unit equal to approximately 1.0% of the total base salary rate of employees in the unit on May 1, 2010. The Xxxx/Director/Unit Head shall distribute these funds in a proportionate, fair and equitable manner to the department/unit. (3) Merit increases shall be provided to eligible employees consistent with criteria specified in Section 10.4 and procedures developed pursuant to Section 10.3(b). (4) The merit increase, expressed as a percentage of an employee's base salary, shall be equal for employees with equal evaluations. (5) The increases shall be effective August 11, 2010.

  • Supplemental Compensation Pursuant to Section 7 of the Agreement, Supplemental Compensation is payable as follows.

  • Management Compensation As compensation for your services in the management of the offering, we will pay you an amount equal to the management fee specified in the Invitation in respect of the Securities to be purchased by us pursuant to the Purchase Agreement, and we authorize you to charge our account with such amount. If there is more than one Representative, such compensation shall be divided among the Representatives in such proportions as they may determine.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • SUB-ADVISER'S COMPENSATION The Fund shall pay to the Sub-Adviser, as compensation for the Sub-Adviser's services hereunder, a fee, determined as described in Schedule A that is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Such fee shall be computed daily and paid not less than monthly in arrears by the Fund. The Sub-Adviser will be compensated based on the portion of Fund assets allocated to the Sub-Adviser by the Adviser. The method for determining net assets of the Fund for purposes hereof shall be the same as the method for determining net assets for purposes of establishing the offering and redemption prices of Fund shares as described in the Fund's prospectus. In the event of termination of this Agreement, the fee provided in this Section shall be computed on the basis of the period ending on the last business day on which this Agreement is in effect subject to a pro rata adjustment based on the number of days elapsed in the current month as a percentage of the total number of days in such month.

  • Adviser’s Compensation Each Fund shall pay to the Adviser, as compensation for the Adviser’s services hereunder, a fee, determined as described in Schedule A that is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Such fee shall be computed daily and paid not less than monthly in arrears by each Fund. The method for determining net assets of a Fund for purposes hereof shall be the same as the method for determining net assets for purposes of establishing the offering and redemption prices of Fund shares as described in the Fund’s Registration Statement. In the event of termination of this Agreement, the fee provided in this Section shall be computed on the basis of the period ending on the last business day on which this Agreement is in effect subject to a pro rata adjustment based on the number of days elapsed in the current month as a percentage of the total number of days in such month.

  • Education Incentive A. The following monthly education incentive pay will be paid to each employee upon completing the listed degree and providing proof of completion to the Agency. Associate Degree Two percent (2%) Bachelor Degree Four percent (4%) B. The above percentages will be based upon the employee’s base rate of pay. C. An employee will be entitled to one (1) education incentive pay only. D. Degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher education.

  • Reciprocal Compensation The arrangement for recovering, in accordance with Section 251(b)(5) of the Act, the FCC Internet Order, and other applicable FCC orders and FCC Regulations, costs incurred for the transport and termination of Reciprocal Compensation Traffic originating on one Party’s network and terminating on the other Party’s network (as set forth in Section 7 of the Interconnection Attachment).

  • Additional Compensation Notwithstanding anything in this Memorandum of Understanding to the contrary when in the judgment of the Board, it becomes necessary or desirable to utilize the services of County employees in capacities other than those for which they are regularly employed, the Board may authorize and, if appropriate, fix an additional rate of compensation for such employees.

If the scope of the Project or site is changed, the Board and the PA/E shall negotiate a reasonable fee based upon the probable estimated construction cost in changing the scope of the work and the approximate percentage of the estimated construction cost which was used to negotiate this Agreement if, and, as such may be applicable. B. If the DOE or Board requires the PA/E to make major or costly changes to the Schematic, Preliminary or Construction Document Phase submittals, which changes are not caused by architectural or engineering error or oversight, the PA/E shall be paid to redesign for additional expenses in an amount agreed to by the parties. Under no circumstances will the principals of the PA/E and the principals of his consultants be paid a fee in excess of $125.00 per hour.
