Use of State Equipment. A. Union stewards shall be permitted reasonable use of State phones and video phones (VP)/telecommunication devices for the deaf (TDD) to make calls for Union representation purposes; provided, however, that such use of State phones shall not incur additional charges to the State or interfere with the operation of the State.
Use of State Equipment. A. Except as provided by this Contract, no employee shall be permitted use of any State machine, equipment, or communication system, including but not limited to computer, photocopier, E-mail, voice mail, fax machine, for Union organizing or other Union purposes.

Use of State Equipment. IUOE stewards shall be permitted reasonable use of State phones to make calls for IUOE representation purposes provided that such use does not result in unreasonable costs to the State or interfere with State operations. IUOE stewards, for representational purposes, shall also be permitted reasonable and occasional use of fax machines and e-mail provided a computer and e-mail address is accessible and utilized as a normal part of his/her duties. Use of such equipment shall not result in unreasonable costs to the State nor interfere with State operations.
Use of State Equipment. Use of state-owned electronic equipment will be allowed and shall be governed by the State of Alaska Technology Policy.

Use of State Equipment. Employees may reasonably communicate with each other and XXXXXX regarding XXXXXX business related to the Agreement and Act using State-owned computers and telephones. Any use must be in compliance with any acceptable use policy(ies).

B. An employee may be permitted reasonable use of State telephones or E-mail for representation activities. This means an employee may be permitted to contact the local Union representative to seek representation or set an appointment regarding filing a grievance or complaint (as defined in Article 6) or matters listed in Section 3.3 (a) and (c).
C. Use of State telephones or E-mail for representation purposes shall not:
1. incur additional charges to the State;
Use of State Equipment. Contractor and Contractor’s employees shall not use state equipment including, but not limited to, computers, telephones, facsimile machines, copiers, printers, calculators, or typewriters, except for phone use in cases of emergency or to respond to work requests from TFC or the occupying state agency of the building to which they are assigned. Misuse of this equipment may result in termination of the Contract.
