Vacation scheduling for Full. Time Twelve Month Employees Employees are encouraged to utilize all earned vacation within the Program Option year. Employees, to the extent possible, are requested to take vacation when children are not present subject to the approval of the employee’s immediate supervisor. Vacation requests shall be considered on a first come first serve basis. Vacation requests will not be approved when the dates requested conflict with staff training, staff coverage and program operational needs. Employees must submit their vacation requests to their immediate supervisor two weeks in advance for approval. Employees will be notified in writing within five work (5) days of approval or disapproval of the request. If there is a conflict between two or more employee’s vacation requests, seniority will determine which employee will be granted the vacation leave.
