VACATION TIME AND SICK LEAVE. Employee shall be entitled to (4) weeks of vacation and fifteen (15) days of sick leave without loss of compensation each year during the Employment Term. For the purposes of this paragraph, a year shall begin on the effective date of this Restated Agreement as set forth above. In the event that Employee takes vacation time or sick leave in excess of the minimum numbers set forth in this paragraph, the Board of Directors shall determine whether or not Employee shall receive compensation for such excess days. Unless otherwise established by the Company's Board of Directors, in the event that Employee does not for any reason take the total amount of vacation time authorized during any year, he shall be deemed to have waived any entitlement to vacation time for that year. Sick days may not be accumulated.

VACATION TIME AND SICK LEAVE. Employee shall be entitled to three (3) weeks of vacation and six (6) days of sick leave without loss of compensation each year during the Employment Term. For the purposes of this paragraph, a year shall begin on the effective date of this Agreement as set forth above. In the event that Employee takes vacation time or sick leave in excess of the minimum numbers set forth in this paragraph, the President shall determine whether or not Employee shall receive compensation for such excess days. VACATION TIME AND SICK LEAVE. Employee shall be entitled to five (5) days of vacation without loss of compensation after serving for six (6) months with the Company. After serving for one (1) year with the Company the Employee shall be entitled to a second five (5) days of vacation without loss of compensation. After serving for eighteen (18) months with the Company the Employee shall be entitled to a third five (5) days of vacation without loss of compensation. Upon serving for two (2) years with the Company and in each successive calendar year after Employee's two (2) year service date, Employee shall be entitled to fifteen (15) days of vacation without loss of compensation. Employee shall be entitled to qualify for one (1) day of sick leave without loss of compensation for each month served with the Company, up to a maximum of ten (10) days per calendar year. The length of time served shall begin on the effective date of employment as set forth below. In the event that Employee takes vacation time or sick leave in excess of the maximum numbers set forth in this paragraph, the President and/or Chief Executive Officer shall determine whether or not Employee shall receive compensation for such excess days. In the event that Employee does not for any reason take the total amount of vacation time or sick time authorized during any year, he or she shall be deemed to have waived any entitlement to vacation time and sick leave for that year. These sick days and vacation days may not be accumulated, nor may they be sold back to the Company at the end of any year, or upon termination of employment.
VACATION TIME AND SICK LEAVE. Seller shall (and shall cause any Affiliate of Seller to) pay to each Transferred Employee all amounts in respect of vacation days and other paid time off accrued but not taken by such Transferred Employee as of or prior to the Closing, subject to the applicable Law. For the remainder of the year in which Closing occurs, Buyer shall allow each Transferred Employee to use such accrued but unused vacation on an unpaid basis, subject to applicable Law. Buyer or any Affiliate of Buyer shall have no obligation to honor such accrued vacation days or paid time off, unless so required by applicable Law. Following the year in which Closing occurs, the Transferred Employees’ eligibility for vacation and other paid time off shall be determined under Xxxxx’s vacation policy and applicable Law.

In the event that Employee takes vacation time or sick leave in excess of the maximum number of days set forth in this paragraph, the Board of Directors of the Company shall determine whether or not Employee shall receive compensation for such excess days. In the event that Employee does not for any reason take the total amount of vacation time and/ or sick days authorized during any year, such days shall not carry over and be accumulated in subsequent years.

Related to VACATION TIME AND SICK LEAVE

  • Vacation; Sick Leave During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to not less than four (4) weeks of vacation during each calendar year and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies and practices with respect to its executives.

  • Vacation Time After the Trial Period is complete, the Employee is entitled to days off per year of which is required to be mutually benefiting of the Employer and the Employee. It is required for the Employee to give notice before scheduling their vacation in accordance with Company policy.

  • Paid Sick Leave For those jurisdictions that have passed or will pass legislation requiring Paid Sick Leave, Paid Sick Time will be billed back to Client at the straight-time bill rate for all hours taken by any Consultant assigned to Client.   • Vacations and Sick Leave The Executive shall be entitled to paid annual vacation leave in accordance with the policies as established from time to time by the Board of Directors, which shall in no event be less than four weeks per annum. The Executive shall also be entitled to an annual sick leave benefit as established by the Board for senior management employees of the Bank. The Executive shall not be entitled to receive any additional compensation from the Bank for failure to take a vacation or sick leave, nor shall he be able to accumulate unused vacation or sick leave from one year to the next; provided, however, such Executive may carry forward from year to year a maximum of ten days of unused vacation leave.
