WEATHER-RELATED OFFICE CLOSURES. In order to work effectively and safely as the climate crisis continues to exacerbate weather conditions, the Organization must be able and willing to adapt to extreme weather conditions. During severe weather or other conditions that affect safe access to an office or multiple offices, ex. heat or cooling outage in the office building, the Organization may close the affected office(s) early, open late, or close for the entirety of a particular day or days. The State Director, or in states without a State Director the senior-most staff member, in an office or remote location will take into account the particular travel conditions, availability of and safe access to public transportation, and school closures in altering office hours or closing an office. In Washington D.C., the Organization will follow the federal government operating status as issued on the xxx.xxx website. The COO will email notification ASAP when delays are in effect. In the event of inclement weather where the State Director or XXX does not choose to close the office, and if an employee reasonably believes that they are unable to safely make it into the office, the employee will be expected to perform their job duties remotely to the best of their ability. If severe weather is anticipated, employees should bring their laptops home in anticipation of an office closure. In the event of a government declared emergency or severe weather affecting the employee’s place of residence, and/or the employee’s AV office is closed due to severe weather, employees who are unable to perform job duties (i.e. due to lack of proper equipment, power outage, heat or cooling outage, childcare duties, etc.) because of the severe weather event, should communicate with their supervisor(s) that they are unable to work and will not be required to use paid time off for such days. Office closures in a specific location should not affect work hours of employees in other America Votes offices.

WEATHER-RELATED OFFICE CLOSURES. Given the remote nature of our workforce, Concerted Action does not follow specific guidelines for the closure of business. Because we are a service-oriented business with employees and clients in a number of geographic locations, employees should assume they are working a normal workday, unless weather conditions prohibit them to do so (for example, experiencing a power or internet outage as a result of the weather). In that case, the employee must report the outage and their availability with as much advance notice as possible to their manager and project teams.

  • New York State Statewide Financial System New York State Statewide Financial System (SFS) went live for NYS agencies in April 2012. Future SFS procurement functionality envisions the ability to fully host Contract catalogs, to integrate Contractor-hosted punch-out catalogs, and/or to submit and process invoices electronically.   • ASSISTANCE IN RELATED PROCUREMENTS 5.1 Where a Relevant Supplier is bidding to provide New Goods and/or Services in circumstances where the Supplier or an Affiliate of the Supplier is already providing (or due to provide) Legacy Goods and/or Services to a Contracting Body, the Supplier shall promptly provide the relevant Contracting Body and/or the Relevant Supplier with all reasonable information and assistance as may be required from time to time to enable the relevant Contracting Body and/or the Relevant Supplier, as appropriate, to:

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS 30.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of a maximum of two (2) Shop Stewards from the Union, and a maximum of two (2) representatives from the Co-operative. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Co-operative.   • Entities that Boycott Energy Companies In accordance with Senate Bill 13, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., pursuant to Section 2274.002 (eff. Sept. 1, 2023, Section 2276.002, pursuant to House Bill 4595, Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S.) of the Texas Government Code (relating to prohibition on contracts with companies boycotting certain energy companies), Contractor represents and warrants that: (1) it does not, and will not for the duration of the Contract, boycott energy companies or (2) the verification required by Section 2274.002 (eff. Sept. 1, 2023, Section 2276.002, pursuant to House Bill 4595, Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S.) of the Texas Government Code does not apply to the Contract. If circumstances relevant to this provision change during the course of the Contract, Contractor shall promptly notify System Agency.

No member shall leave their duty or work station without specific prior approval of the Chief of the Department or authorized management official.   • Special Rules Regarding Related Entities and Branches That Are Nonparticipating Financial Institutions If a Finnish Financial Institution, that otherwise meets the requirements described in paragraph 1 of this Article or is described in paragraph 3 or 4 of this Article, has a Related Entity or branch that operates in a jurisdiction that prevents such Related Entity or branch from fulfilling the requirements of a participating FFI or deemed-compliant FFI for purposes of section 1471 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code or has a Related Entity or branch that is treated as a Nonparticipating Financial Institution solely due to the expiration of the transitional rule for limited FFIs and limited branches under relevant U.S. Treasury Regulations, such Finnish Financial Institution shall continue to be in compliance with the terms of this Agreement and shall continue to be treated as a deemed- compliant FFI or exempt beneficial owner, as appropriate, for purposes of section 1471 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, provided that:

  • STRIKES, LOCKOUTS AND PICKET LINES The Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement, the Union or its bargaining unit members will not authorize, instigate, aid or engage in any work stoppage, slowdown, sickout, refusal to work, picketing or strike against the Employer and/or the Agency, its goods, property or on its property. The Agency agrees that during the life of this Agreement there will be no lockout. Upon notification confirmed in writing by the Employer to the Union that certain bargaining unit members covered by this Agreement are engaging in strike activity in violation of this Article, the Union shall advise such striking employees in writing, with a copy to the Department of Administrative Services, to return to work immediately. Such notification by the Union shall not constitute an admission that it has caused or counseled such strike activity.
