Weekend Penalty Rates. All ordinary time for employees worked between midnight on Friday and midnight on Saturday shall be paid for at one and a- half times the ordinary rate; and all ordinary time worked between midnight on Saturday and midnight on Sunday shall be paid for at double the ordinary rate.
Weekend Penalty Rates. 20.1 For all ordinary hours worked by a full-time or part-time Employee between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday will be paid 150% of their ordinary time rate.
20.2 A casual Employee who works between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday will be paid 175% of their ordinary time rate for all time worked but will not be paid the casual loading of 25%.
Weekend Penalty Rates. Unless you work in the Direct Unit (as referred to in clause 5.5) or you work as a Sales Representative (as re- ferred to in clause 5.6), if your spread of ordinary hours of work involves you working on a Saturday or Sunday, you will be entitled to the following penalty rates:
(a) 150% for all hours worked on a Saturday;
(b) 200% for all hours worked on a Sunday. Any penalty rate payable is not cumulative with overtime.
Weekend Penalty Rates. An Employee performing work on the following days will be paid the following percentage of their base rate per hour set out in clause 3.2 (Wages) as follows:

13.1 will be entitled to the following penalties for all ordinary hours worked.
a. All ordinary hours worked on a Saturday will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Saturday is taken to commence at midnight on Friday and finish at midnight on Saturday;
b. All ordinary hours worked on a Sunday will be paid at the rate of time and three quarters. Sunday is taken to commence at midnight on Saturday and finish at midnight on Sunday;
c. Weekend penalty rates for ordinary hours worked in accordance with clauses 15.2
15.1 Weekend penalties for recreation centres and community services
Weekend Penalty Rates. 24.1 Weekend Penalty Rates
(a) Employees, other than casual employees, will be paid a Weekend Penalty Rate of 130% of the ordinary hourly base rate for ordinary hours worked on a Saturday.
(b) Employees, other than casual employees, will be paid a Weekend Penalty Rate of 180% of the ordinary hourly base rate for ordinary hours worked on a Sunday. Note: if on a given weekend an employee works on the Saturday any hours worked on the Sunday will be overtime
Weekend Penalty Rates. Any employee covered by this Schedule who is required to work ordinary hours between Midnight Friday and Midnight Sunday shall be paid as per the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017.
Weekend Penalty Rates. 19.1. The following penalty rates will apply to ordinary hours worked on weekends in accordance with Clause 16.1(b) or Clause 18.3 of this Agreement (and will be applied to the applicable ordinary hourly rate for the employee’s classification grade):
Weekend Penalty Rates. (a) If requested to work outside Ordinary Hours on a Saturday, Sunday or Public holiday, time worked will attract a Penalty rate of 66% of the Employees Ordinary Rate.
(b) As an alternative to receiving the Penalty rate under Clause 9.1(a), an Employee can take Time in Lieu. Time in lieu:
(i) Is to be taken at a mutually convenient time as agreed with the Council or their delegate (such as a supervisor or manager);
(ii) Can only be accumulated to a maximum of thirty eight (38) hours unless prior approval is given by Council;
(iii) Is to be reduced to a maximum of sixteen (16) hours by 31 December of each year, unless prior approval is given by Council
(iv) Is to be reduced to eight (8) hours by 30 June in each year, unless prior approval is given by Council;
(v) Unused time in lieu will be paid to the Employee at their Base Rate of Pay on termination of employment.
(c) This clause does not affect the calculation for those Employees who request to work weekends and Public holidays, for such requests hours worked will be accrued on a time for time basis.
Weekend Penalty Rates. 29.1 Where ordinary hours are worked on weekends, payment will be:
(a) 150% of the ordinary hourly rate on Saturdays; and
(b) 200% of the ordinary hourly rate on Sundays.
