Work Study. Registered Bow Valley College Students who are utilized by the College to perform non-bargaining unit work. FOR BOW VALLEY COLLEGE FOR THE ALBERTA UNION OFPROVINCIAL EMPLOYEES DATE: DATE: ALBERTA UNION OF PROVINCIAL EMPLOYEES (AUPE) LOCAL 071/011 The Employer shall provide the following unpaid leaves of absence in accordance with the requirements of the Employment Standards Code, Alberta, as amended from time to time: Compassionate Care Leave An Employee who has been employed by Bow Valley College for at least 90 days is entitled to unpaid compassionate care leave for a period of up to 27 weeks for the purpose of providing care or support to a seriously ill family member, in accordance with the Employment StandardsCode and Employment Insurance (El) legislation.
Work Study. As budget allows, Bridge students will have the opportunity to apply and be accepted to participate in work study. The student will be paid by UB and will receive payments after successful completion.

Work Study. A WTW Activity available to qualified students at local community colleges and universities. This activity is used primarily to supplement participation hours spent in Vocational Education and Training activities.
Work Study. Work study will not be credited directly to the student’s account. Students are paid twice a month for the hours worked at their jobs. For this reason, the amount of the work study award should not be deducted when calculating the amount of the payment due. Student loan information and applications are available at xxxxxxx.xxx/xx. Upon successful completion of the application and approval process, loan proceeds will be credited directly to the student’s account after classes begin. If loan proceeds credited to a student’s account result in an overpayment of the account balance, a refund check will be issued approximately one week later.

Work Study. Persons may be employed by the Employer as Work/Study Librarians to be trained as professional librarians. Such persons shall be scheduled to work and assigned to locations as directed by the Employer. However, no Work/Study Librarian shall be assigned to any position except as described in Section 4.c. of this Article.
Work Study. An academic program which enables WtW participants enrolled in a Community College to gain a minimum of 20 weekly hours of paid work experience while continuing their studies. The employment is temporary in nature and the employer is not expected to retain the participant beyond the work assignment. EXHIBIT A – Statement of Work
