Medical Officer of the Service definition

Medical Officer of the Service means any qualified medical practitioner approved by the Chief for the purpose of these regulations. The Member agrees that during the time off due to accumulated sick leave credits will not seek or accept any employment offered without the knowledge and permission of the Board. A Member who is eligible to receive a pension subject to regulations may choose to waive the benefits that he or she is entitled to under Schedule receive a cash payout, thereby proceeding to pension on the date specified.
